I emailed support on this a couple days ago and have yet to get a response...

Has anyone else had a problem uploading pics into your profile?  I had an account some time ago and came across this issue, don't recall how I resolved it.  It's not giving me the option for primary photo, photo 2, etc...And not uploading the one pic I select...I've tried two different computers and 5 different browsers with no luck.

Any advice?

There are often occassional glitches when posting or uploading pictures to the forum, but I have not experienced it in the profile area. What file type is the picture, and what error message, if any, are you getting? I may be able to advise further.

No error message, just doesn't contain the pull down box to select which image I want the pic to be (1,st 2nd, primary, etc...), but it allows me to browse and select one photo, however when I do, even though it says it is uploaded, it doesn't actually go through....If any of that makes sense.

Dont be offended by this question please. Have you tried another photo choice, in the event the first one was too large. I would be happy to test the picture in question to see if I can upoad it. Feel free to send it to me on the other side if you like. Perhaps then we can determine if its a glitch in the system or the actual picture.
(or!  try to upload it in the Test Section, at the very bottom of the Forums)

I've tried a few different pictures, none work, no error message.  I also tried to email one to myself, to see if I could at least send them in email...Didn't work either.

PC...I'm gonna try a couple other computers here in a few, see if any of those work...Very frustrating.  I really appreciate your taking the time to try and help.

This isn't necessarily a Mac problem. I use Macs and have had no problems uploading photos.

My thoughts...

- The OP's ISP may be blocking the upload of photos to CollarMe. The ISP may have software that attempts to block for spam and is determining the photos to be such. One way to test for this is for the OP to attempt an upload of those photos to another site, such as Fet or perhaps even to a secured, private album on Picasa or Flickr.

- There is a part of the OP's oubound firewall that is preventing these photos from leaving the computer. This can be tested by temporarily turning off the outbound firewall and seeing of the photos can be uploaded.

- There is a problem with a corrupted browser cache. Clearing the cache, and sometimes cookies, from the browser can help. The mention of the missing dropdown options can be the result of a corrupted browser cache.

- The OP's local ISP may be attempting to "enforce community standards" and not allow photos to be uploaded to CollarMe. Where I live my ISP has deemed, allegedly due to "community standards," CollarMe to be a porn site and, as such, it tries its best to block access to and from CM. In my case the ISP is using blocks at their DNS servers so by my using other available DNS servers I am able to get around those weak ISP blocking attempts. Using proxy servers may also help in such cases.

I would start with the easiest fix which is to clear the browser cache and cookies.

Based on this, it must be an isp issue, which I can't figure out, because not a few months ago, I could post pics from this comp, and this isp, just fine.

I've now tried numerous browsers, numerous computers, turning my firewall off, clearing my cache and cookies.  No go on any of it..

If the photo (file size) is too large that may contribute to the problem you are experiencing. Try loading a photo very small in size to see if it works.

I am happy to see that you have resolved your uploading issue, much to the pleasure of my eyes.

Nice tattoo also, btw

The fix.

I don't have pictures posted on my profile, but I just did a favor for someone else here on the site. I had issues uploading her pictures. Of course me knowing a bit about technology and what not I tried a simple thing that ended up woring. Check the extenstion of the files you're trying to upload. In the case of the files I uploaded they were all with .jpeg extentsions, but when uploaded they failed to show up on her profile. These types of images usually end in .jpg so I changed the file extension from .jpeg to .jpg and whalla when I uploaded her pictures again they all showed up in her profile so all the pervs can thank me lol.
