First we give you the good Sen. Kerry and his tugboat saga. Now we give you Barney and his senior citizen woes.
This one is laughbable. If anyone of you have heard him when he is on a rant with reporters or when being interviewed, you can only imagine how idiotic he must have sounded.

Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank caused a scene when he demanded a $1 senior discount on his ferry fare to Fire Island's popular gay haunt, The Pines, last Friday. Frank was turned down by ticket clerks at the dock in Sayville because he didn't have the required Suffolk County Senior Citizens ID

No, it should read buffoon, but don't let me stop you from making a buffoon of yourself.

servantforuse -> RE: Massachusetts presents: another bafoon (7/27/2010 6:37:06 PM)

John Kerry. Another do as I say and not as I do, liberal hypocrite. He saved $437,500 on his states one time sales tax, and $70,000 on the annual excise tax. I guess he likes the weather more in neighboring Rhode Island. Or maybe he likes no taxes for himself.

It's interesting that is what the discussion amounts to.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't conservatives in favor of small government and reduced taxes?

It's a banner day here at CM, rml. Again we agree !! Who woulda thunk it ?

What did we agree on?

That you can't spell or that you are a buffoon?

Nope can't correct you there, rml. You got it right, alright.

The thing is Kerry wants higher taxes on the rich. Except for himself, of course. He doesn't even want to pay the current tax on his wealth.

                     mbmbn

I love it when rml and i agree.

servantforuse -> RE: Massachusetts presents: another buffoon (7/27/2010 6:51:11 PM)

I am for less taxes. John Kerry is not, unless it applies to him. He should move his 7 million dollar boat back to Massachusetts and pay the taxes he owes his home state. He is a tax cheat.

maybemaybenot -> RE: Massachusetts presents: another bafoon (7/27/2010 6:52:24 PM)

We agree that it should read " buffoon " which I corrected in the title in your honor.
Calling me a buffoon just plain makes me hot.

So what do people thinkof Franks hissy fit ?  Pathetically hilarious to me.

mbmbn- resident buffoon and damn proud of it.

Again I have to ask the question I asked Servant, aren't conservatives opposed to taxes and in favor of letting people keep their wealth?

Remember the whole death tax thing?

So who is actually being hypocritical?

servantforuse -> RE: Massachusetts presents: another bafoon (7/27/2010 6:57:49 PM)

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said she was giong to drain the swamp ? I guess it isn't quite drained yet. We haven't even gotten to Charles Rangles ethics and tax problems. He apparently doesn't like to pay taxes on his properties either.

You are for less taxes but have a problem with someone legally trying to reduce their taxes?

slvemike4u -> RE: Massachusetts presents: another buffoon (7/27/2010 7:03:49 PM)

And would like to station a shitload of shooters at the border....with orders to shoot on sight,he just doesn't want to pay any taxes to accomplish these things....lol.

servantforuse -> RE: Massachusetts presents: another buffoon (7/27/2010 7:05:42 PM)

There's only one problem. He didn't do it legally. He is a resident of MA and owes taxes on the boat that he docks there. He parked it in RI for a few months, not over six months as was required by law.

maybemaybenot -> RE: Massachusetts presents: another buffoon (7/27/2010 7:17:36 PM)

servant is correct, rml. We have a law here in Mass. I referenced it in the other Kerry thread. I had heard it on the radio, but couldn't find a link. It's the presumption of use law.

"if a boat owner berths the vessel in Massachusetts waters within six months of purchasing the boat, there’s a 'presumption of use,' and the owner must fork over the 6.25 percent sales tax to the commonwealth.”

I believe he has already berthed it in Nantucket, which means he was attempting to break the law. Do you really believe he would pay the 1/2 mil tax to Mass. if he didn't have to, just to avoid the media slaughter ?
He was attempting to break the law. Pure and simple.

Mike, there you go again!
Our taxes are paying for that right now in S. Korea. You walk into a no-man's land from N. Korea and you'll end up with 41 bullet holes in you compliments of the U.S. Taxpayers.
A no-man's land is not a good place for a stroll.

MBMBN, yes, it's funny as hell Barney arguing over a buck!
"You Mutha-fukkers! I'm an old queen and a seenya citizen! "Dis is highway wobberwy!" "It's disqwumination!"
"DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!" I'm Congwessman Barney Fwank!"

maybemaybenot -> RE: Massachusetts presents: another buffoon (7/27/2010 8:17:38 PM)

Wouldn't he make a great reality show contestant ?
