I love that quote from Breakfast Club, and yes, I loved the movie. People sometimes seem to define themselves in the simplest terms, or as they see themselves reflected in the eyes of others. I Want to Define Who I Am I want to laugh today at tomorrow's cares To be clothed with dignity and strength To speak wisely in faith and instruction I care only that when my children grow older they will rise up and call me blessed! That I never give my loves a reason to grieve. All else I do will pass away but when others no longer whisper my name kindly, I want my great granddaughters to cook the foods I cooked at thanksgiving. I want My grandsons to want women who will love them as deeply as I love my family. I want my love and commitment to my family instilled so deeply within my sons that they will pass that love on for generations to come! That is my defining goal. All else is only window dressing to be changed with each season and as passing as the spring time blossoms and autumn colors
