It sounds like this guy:

Andrew Hill "Andy" Card Jr. (born May 10, 1947) is a Republican American politician, former United States Cabinet member, and head of President George W. Bush's White House Iraq Group. Card served as U.S. Secretary of Transportation under President George H. W. Bush and the White House Chief of Staff under George W. Bush. He announced his resignation as Chief of Staff March 28, 2006, effective April 14, 2006.

Sanity has nailed it once again. The guy's "posts" always turn to shit and he ends up enjoying the shit sandwich.

One thing in the article that always pisses me off when I see it in any type of a print is this........

""Monumentally bad timing" was the reaction of one former Bush aide who learned of the book release date....."

Did the guy have a bag on his head?...Or was he a former Bush aide that no one had ever seen before?

If the person is worth quoting than surely it should be noteworthy to attribute his fucking name to the quote.

Actually, the opposite is true. The Republicans have nothing to run on and they have proposed nothing and they are against everything.

The Dems have nothing to run ON so they're going to rely heavily on the Bush card and the race card.

Smells of desperation.

On the plus side for the Dems, welfare rolls are way up and people on welfare tend to vote for Democrats. At least thats trending in your favor...

I don't think Bush malapropisms are the reason that the republicans panicking, hysterical and running scared about this, and why are they throwing him under the bus.  I think it's that the spectre of  Bush=republican coming to the fore is not going to be a settling pastoral image designed to get votes.  I think that miss me yet sign you posted in another thread is going to play heavily in advertisements for democratic candidates.

It`s just that bush couldn`t say anything without garbling it or misspeaking outright.

Egggssssssssactly!!!!

Do you think it was because he was just plane stupid or was it that cheny was not there to operate the dummy?

The latter. Do you remember the first debates he did with Gore after getting the Republican nomination? He was practically sitting on Cheney's lap! I expected him to finish by saying he didn't want to go back in the box...
