I would support the abolishment of the Department of Education -- as this is a state's task.

For example, name a major Republican who will publically disavow any of the 10 statements; one or two brave souls, maybe, but very few.

Your posts are usually pretty well considered, AR, whether I agree with them, or, usually, not. This isn't up to your standards.

Gingrich (who's running, I think. 0bama0 is just too good an opportunity to pass up), Palin, McCain, Romney, will all disavow all of the following four points. Name four who will publicly embrace one of them:

7. Abolish the Department of Education
Put the big banks back in charge of student loans and put an end to federal assistance for public schools.

8. Abolish the Department of Energy
End America's investments in a clean-energy future and disband the organization responsible for oversight of nuclear materials.

9. Abolish the Environmental Protection Agency
Gut the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act -- which together protect our kids from air pollution and keep drinking water safe -- and disband the watchdog that holds polluters accountable.

10. Repeal the 17th Amendment
Take away your right to pick your U.S. Senator.

On the other side, I don't think any of the points in the Kirata list will be ridiculed by the dims, as you seem to imply they should do.

Great you can google. But have you ever been to a rally and found in black conservatives? Yeah, I didn't think so.

Oh yeah, I really believe you've been to a lot of Tea Party events... [sm=modxiiswatching.gif]

The point is from what I have seen of the teabagger rallies and town hall meetings there has been little to no minority involvement.

But the few who participate are held up as proof of the teabaggers being racially inclusive.

Protested at some in and around cleveland. No, noone that could be accused of being a "minority". Try again bubba.

Are you suggesting there are no black republicans? None at all? Maybe you should jump over to this site and let them know, because they seem to think there are.... http://www.nbra.info/

This kinda reminds me of the time you claimed only white people listen to talk radio. Makes me wonder if you actually know any black people.

Where do you suggest we look for black conservatives? Other than SCOTUS or Thomas Sowells office?

mnottertail -> RE: "Republican tea party contract on America" (7/30/2010 7:07:02 AM)

Well, I wonder if steele will go to jail?  Be easy to find then.

Republicans are gonna need more than hiding their homosexuals in closets, and lies, and Bushes memoirs to win this fall, they are going to need some actual reasoned positions.  Or a miracle.

Well if I can't keep my homosexual in the closet, just where do you suggest I hide him?

Do you bother to read any of the words I write or are you automatically hitting reply when you see me posted. Did I say that? Imply that? No.

Are suggesting that there is a majority of african americans that are republican or tea baggers?

If I said whites listen to talk radio I am sure it was in reference to Beck and Limbaugh...And I am right about that.

I prefer to listen to TJ www.tjms.com and try to catch him http://www.pbs.org/kcet/tavissmiley/ as often as I am able.  And, no, of course I dont know any black people but I KNOW you do....don't you.

Minneapolis Airport is out, been tried.   Don't Ask, Don't Tell has been sort of a mixed bag, ain't it?  Uh, are all the village people still alive?  maybe you could get your homosexual a gig with them? didn't the cowboy go down to aids?

Moonhead -> RE: "Republican tea party contract on America" (7/30/2010 7:54:54 AM)

I think that was the leatherboy.
(Was there a cowboy in the Village People?)

mnottertail -> RE: "Republican tea party contract on America" (7/30/2010 7:56:25 AM)

Point is, they can't do YMCA short one member, any more than a horse could canter shy one leg, n'est ce pas?

Moonhead -> RE: "Republican tea party contract on America" (7/30/2010 8:00:58 AM)

True enough. You're dead right on that one.
