sensationalism is where the bucks are at, the media has long since given up on actually reporting news, theres no money in it if it aint polarized and sensationalised, fuck a bunch of fact, thats why NPR is about all that remains, and the BBC, but they even get a little zany sometimes.

Typical liberal garbage....firstly.... Covington Lousiana is on the North Shore of Lake Poncatrain.... and there are NO white beaches in Covington Lousiana.... no beaches for that matter...and no oil has reached that lake..... One thing you can always count on is a lying liberal press ALWAYS having it wrong.... I live in Destin Florida, and other than a few tarballs one week...we have had NO oil....NONE...NADA...ZIP....get it? Now before you champion one of these propaganda left wing bloviations...it would be helpful if you knew what the fuck you were talking about...don'tcha think?

I saw an expert opinion on TV. They think that the massive use of chemicals to disperse the oil by BP helped to prevent it reaching the shores. Most of the oil is believed to be under the surface in form of small droplets. The negative effect is that the dispersants are toxic [ http://rawstory.com/rs/2010/0501/bp-relying-toxic-chemicals-disperse-oil-spilled-gulf-mexico/ ] and long term ecological damage is unpredictable but certain.
