Some songs just grab me and I get lost in them.

Many of their songs are considered "death metal" I suppose, because at times it seems he is growling like an angry monster instead of singing.
But when he actually sings........ahhhhh!

Connected to that song are other songs and other people:

Joni Mitchell's My Old Man
(which she wrote in reference to Graham... I don't know if he wrote Simple Man while thinking about her, but as I understand it, Our House was in part ...)

And then the rest of the story is that because Judy Collins was with David (Crosby) she became acquainted with Joni's music (and I could throw in the bit about Chelsea Clinton's name... )

I was listening to The Concert In Central Park CD...mainly to hear The Boxer. Mrs Robinson was the only S&G song that had an icon.

You must be a fan too...

The Boxer is by far my favorite. It amazes me just how difficult that song is to actually sing. It is such a lovely song. I am a Fan of S&G.

I am Also a Fan of the Beatles.

Status: offline 		I haven't heard this song in a long time and apparently some kids on the Disney chanel did one of the worst remakes I ever heard of it. but it has started the notes tapping in my brain and now the noggin won't let it go.
