Violentseternal -> A Question of Medical Play-Cervix Penetration? (7/30/2010 5:49:25 AM)

Greetings everyone :)
First post here, but i wanted to pose a question that i havent found here, but then again i have no idea what to name it in a search bar lol..I have always loved medical play..speculums, exams and exam tables, and random proceedures, catherters etc..Awhle ago i was speaking with a man online, and he asked me if i had ever experimented with Cervix penetration (i guess it would be called)? i have done a lot of urethral insertions over the years and love it, but your meant to be able to use the metal urethral sounds (theres a pic on my main profile of them lol)  to insert into the cervix, opened using a speculum..but i am wondering if anyone here has ever had this done, or have done it to anyone? it would be really nice to get some perspective on both or either side of this idea..
thank you in advance :)

Only time I've had anything inside my cervix, it was done by a doctor. I'm a masochist, and even I was grateful for the painkillers during and for days afterwards.

Your cervix is designed to keep bad things out and babies in. You let an amateur start messing with it, and you are risking all sorts of nasties, including infections and possible fertility issues.

I'd say this is something to avoid.

wow.. thank you for sharing, that does sound incredibly painful, more so than i was expecting really.  As for amature, that part isnt a danger, as i have done urethral play for years and thats also not a good idea to mess with, but researching about it helps a great deal..everything properly steralized and clean enviroment etc.. but i do see what you mean, and  i thank you greatly for your imput though im sorry that you had to go through it!

IMHO only: When it comes to my cervix and the idea of anyone penetrating it... anyone who isn't a gynocologist, or otherwise medically trained to do so, is an amateur. I definately would not relate urethral play as experience when it comes to the cervix.

For me, this is definately an area where I wouldn't go. I get enough pain during my routine pap smear, I don't want an untrained person messing around the part of my body designed to keep bad stuff out of my womb.

Chrisincuffs -> RE: A Question of Medical Play-Cervix Penetration? (7/30/2010 7:42:07 AM)

I Have to agree with everyone else on this. Medical play can be quite fun, but you're essentially forcing open a muscle that is meant to remain closed unless something IN the uterus is coming out. I mean think about it. All the weight it holds in during a pregnancy for 9 months and it stays closed until hormones cause it to open during labor. Forcing a muscle that tight to dilate would most likely cause damage that would be irreversible.

thank you all for your thoughts on this! and yes i also have to agree it being a bad idea.. it was the first i had heard it mentioned and i have been in this kinda world for years lol but very good points made by all of you,  its exactly the kind of feedback i needed to make my decision on trying it..which i really am thinking i wont be trying it lol

Also known as un-anesthetized "abortion play."

Expect after-effects similar to the real thing. Take heavy duty antibiotics for a week afterwards. If any hemmoraging persists, go to the emergency room for cauterization. One can easily bleed to death.

Safe Sane Informed Consensual Kink. Emphasis here on INFORMED.

Well, the only time I had anything done "in" my cervix or had it opened was with childbirth or when I had a biopsy of the cervix. Now, anyone would be shit outta luck, as I've had a hysterectomy including the removal of my cervix. I do NOT recommend amateurs w/o a license to do so messing w/ anyone's cervix. That's an invasive procedure. You can do real damage, plus risk VERY nasty infections and pelvic inflammatory disease if you don't know what you're doing.

LEAVE YOUR CERVIX ALONE!!

The seriously painful parts of labour are when your cervix begins its dilation. There are special instruments for doing that---sound sets, among them. Messing around in that area can lead from infections to infertiility.

sublizzie -> RE: A Question of Medical Play-Cervix Penetration? (7/30/2010 11:59:13 AM)

I agree, leave it alone! That said, if someone is stup...idio...inclined to try it anyway, make sure the person you're attempting to open up *has* a cervix! I have a cervical cuff but it *doesn't* open up anymore. Anything north of the cervix was removed over a dozen years ago. And considering the pain I went through to have the endometrial biopsies done I'd NEVER let anyone try opening me up again with a damned good reason (if I still had the cervix and other parts).

Might be wonderful where you're sitting.  LOL.  Yet another reason why I am not a submissive or a masochist.

I had this happen to Me unintentionally during a regular procedure.  I was not a happy camper.  It hurt and I sure wasn't playing about it.  (Dang intern!)

The only thing constructive that I can add is, if you engage in this for play, expect some spotting and have a stock of ibuprofen for a couple of days following.  The day after this happened to Me, I wasn't comfortable sitting up straight, so I engaged in some slouching.

Spoken like the wuss that I am!

If you really want to try this, I suggest going to a professional Dom/me. I know a Dominatrix in Los Angeles who is also an M.D. She knows exactly what she is doing when it comes to medical play. You might want to research in your area for someone local who has this same level of experience before jumping into this. I've done extreme medical play with pro-Dommes before and I trusted them because they were experienced. No way I would trust some amateur I just met sliding a catheter inside of me.

lizi -> RE: A Question of Medical Play-Cervix Penetration? (7/30/2010 2:32:14 PM)

I had my cerivx opened to insert an IUD. It hurt during the procedure and for several days after, I also spotted for a few days. If you've ever given birth you know that labor pains are from the cervix dilating and opening itself in preparation for delivering the baby. The same for a period- menstrual cramps happen because the cervix opens to allow the contents to pass out of the uterus.

I would reiterate what the other posters are saying about it not being an area for the average person to explore for fun because of the potential for problems, and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't even be fun.

JstAnotherSub -> RE: A Question of Medical Play-Cervix Penetration? (7/30/2010 3:09:07 PM)

I am not gonna read the thread.  I just came to say I think my innerds crossed when my legs did as I read the title of this thread.

It gave me goosebumps.  Not the gooduns-lol.

Yall enjoy.

Aileen1968 -> RE: A Question of Medical Play-Cervix Penetration? (7/30/2010 5:13:35 PM)

As someone who lost a baby well into her pregnancy due to cervical issues....don't fuck around with it.
It is not meant to be dilated in unsterile conditions and may jeopardize any future pregnancies not to mention the risk of life threatening infections.

Violentseternal -> RE: A Question of Medical Play-Cervix Penetration? (7/30/2010 5:17:29 PM)

Ok, well the over all vote here is to not mess with it at all lol, so its highly likely i should heed that. though as i said, a great deal of research would have to be done before even attempting this, i dont do anything without plenty of research behind the actions, and at times self experimentation as i can guide my own hand and feel my own bodies limits if that makes sense.. so it wouldnt be done 'ignorantly' i guess im trying to say..
but before starting any major research i was curious as to others experiences to see what they thought of it, and i really cant thank you all enough for your replies here, it has helped a lot..
Nehemiah: if i do decide to give it a try i will keep that in mind, thank you.. i do know of a couple, not overly local to me but close enough to get to if i really wanted to..
AQuietSimpleMan: aaaw why thank you.. is it because im mental? lol  :D

Violentseternal -> RE: A Question of Medical Play-Cervix Penetration? (7/30/2010 5:22:00 PM)

oh and yes i have had a child, but sadly not naturally as he was too big to fit through the cervix, so no dialation actually took place, which means i havent ever had anything done with the area..and its the sounds that a post here mentions, surgical steel ones..but i am at the conclusion its most likely best to leave well enough alone..
aldompdx: thank you as well for the advice on that, i will certainly remember to do so if it is ever planned in the future :)

Nehemiah -> RE: A Question of Medical Play-Cervix Penetration? (7/30/2010 6:06:53 PM)

I also wanted to point out that before Roe v. Wade, so many botched abortions leading to death came from women attempting abortions by dilating the cervix. That should give you some hesitation about trying this as play.

reynardfox -> RE: A Question of Medical Play-Cervix Penetration? (7/31/2010 2:48:19 AM)

Madness, I hope you have top notch medical cover when this goes awry, which it will.
