Let's talk real politics in the real world in today's america. Fuck all this fanciful hype and whos blowing who in the minneapolis airport and whos using their ketchup money to avoid taxes. Lets not even talk about the issues that should concern us, because neither or any party has any sort of well thought out, practical (or pragmatic as merc would say) issue resolution plan. Lets talk about the money, the ad campaign smears, the political infighting, the sound bites, the talking heads, the elevator speeches. Let's goddam fight about this, in our most vituperative style (carefully avoiding TOS violations). I would like the topic to remain in senate and house fights THIS NOVEMBER in general. So if you are slick and can cut up and put up a partisan campaign video, like a max headroom style read my lips sorta thing great. Leave Ronnie out of it, and W, and Billy Jeff, and Jimmy unless the arguement can be tied to a race today. Other than that, allie allie in free. You risk TOS violation yourself. So, you know where to be and where to not be. I am not in any way advocating violation of TOS. Here is my start. I wish I could find better data because I know in passing I saw different numbers: http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1977313,00.html anyways, it seems like republicans are some cheap bastards, and are going to have trouble getting whatever message they got out with the warchest they have (not forgetting that there appears to be 7.1 mill more debt involved than has been accounted for (see the Steele thread)). Anyone can come up with better numbers that are somewhat reliable? I don't think in america today that you can run a cheap ass campaign and win, I mean there may be alotta Tea Baggers out there (then again there may not be alotta them that are gonna go beyond bitching and turn into votes), and apparently they aint putting any money in past the cost of the tea. What do all you say?
