We are not the ones trying to change the constitution...that would be your side.... we just want the power back down in the states...close to the people the way the founders wanted it....they feared an all powerful central government like we have now..... I want personal and economic freedom.... you have no right to what I have....as I have no right to yours..... and no Obama head is going to tell me how to live and what to think..... he will draw back a bloody stub if he sets his foot on my land.... Democrats are trying to reshape America.... we will not allow that to happen...simple....

I normally stay well away from otherwise senseless shooting matches such as the one herein, but I just wanted to say:
1) Political mudslinging sucks. I don't have all the answers, none of us does. Stop arguing, get over yourselves, and be part of the solution instead of the problem, or STFU.
2) It's amazing how the political affiliations of every single resident of Northwest FL seem to be known to just this one person. Amazing! I say..
3) Already scheduled: one relocation within the next couple of years to that approximate locale of one family who thinks outside this and all other boxes. Stay tuned.

I was referring to your assertive claim that it was very uncommon for veterans to be democrats.

My observation was that in that my experience had been different and the leanings were pro-democrat where I volunteered.

You said nothing at all about it having to be in your location.

In that case, I would not at all be surprised if the people within your personal space were always 100% conservative, however you define that term to be.

In the place where I got to know the men (and some women) fairly well, their political views were clearly much more liberal than yours.

Then how was it, as a Florida resident, you weren't taking your guns to shoot down a few U.S. Supreme Court justices when they trampled over the rights of Florida to decide whether a recount should be held?
