No he was being strategic, but he didnt even hint at tactics, and to read any into what he said is speculation at best. In fact suggestions of attacking Iran would be a sea change from his oft stated position of economic sanctions. AFAIR his position on attacking Iran has always been one of 1. Strike only their missile bases. 2. Let Israel do it. So, if Israel attacks only their missle bases in Iran there will be no counter attack from Hezbollah from the north, no attack against US installations remaining in Iraq, and no bottle neck in the Straights of Hormuz? Are the Persians that easy to knock off? Do you think Gingrich has a reasonable position? No. I think we should have bombed strategic Iranian nuclear and missile sites long ago. Hes too much of a dove on the issue. A long time ago? Would that have lessened the certainty of Iranian counter attack? "certainty"? Without missiles how were or are they going to counter attack? bobble head wilbur, How long have we had it preached to us about terrorist and dirty bombs? Your concerned about missiles, if anybody has the materials to make a suitcase bomb are a dirty weapon it is Iran.
