seriously? I dont care how much experience you have or what pompus title you annoint yourself with. You cannot diagnose someone over the internet. He MAY have a medical condition. He may not. He should see his doctor and make sure and if he's having "self-damaging" thoughts some "grand master" on the internet is the last person to tell him he doesn't have a medical condition.

OP, go talk to your doctor. Be honest with them and see whom and what they recommend and do it sooner rather than later.

JARED090369 -> RE: I just don't understand (8/16/2010 4:02:50 PM)

My title was not self appointed and this is not good to curve the conversation to me which are signs of your own week mind Dirty Girl. OP if you want to talk in private let me know.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: I just don't understand (8/16/2010 4:05:42 PM)

OP, definitely see a doctor. There are MANY medical conditions that can cause behavioural changes. I am glad that you have the physical awareness to recognize that you are having odd symptoms---not everyone does!

plushiecat -> RE: I just don't understand (8/16/2010 4:22:47 PM)

ANY title in the BDSM sub-culture is pretty much self-appointed.  There are no initiations, levels to pass through, or tests to take.  This isn't the Freemasons.  Frankly, how *dare* you call someone weak, when you offered nothing, save for an insult to laurell3.  The ONLY person that would be qualified to truly help out petitbateau is a doctor, and that is all everyone (but the so-called "grand master" who has supposedly been at this since he was 20.  Uh huh.) has suggested.  Yes, go see a doc, talk to a therapist.  There are good ones out there. :)

(edited to state:  This was not supposed to be in reply to the socalled "grand master"...not the Lady Hibiscus.)

I suppose I might feel a whole lot better about your advice if you were a Grand Psychologist. Or even a Moderately Decent Physician.

Even then I would wonder at the value of a diagnosis after a few paragraphs on a message board.

This is not medical advice... this is experience talking...
I feel that you are very full, and that an enema might remedy that.
I also feel that this is a poor choice of venue for the subsequent expulsion.
Moving on to medical advice, a radical titulectomy will dramatically improve the smell.

For the OP, investigation by a professional is warranted, ideally in the order DesFIP suggested.

Health,
al-Aswad.

You have zero experience with this individual, so the sound of experience talking would in this case be....silence.

In keeping with the spirit of the new moderation, I would advise you that laurel is a thoughtful poster with a history of good sense.

The same can not be said for everyone who has posted on this thread, Grandmaster sir.

The OP seems to be distressed and it does not seem to be subdrop. To assume any of us might know more than a health care professional is a little silly.

So, Grand Master, does that title come with a +4 modifier?

yours2command -> RE: I just don't understand (8/17/2010 6:57:37 PM)

hi mate, I had a very painful education when living as a slave and it taught me a great deal about my need as a multi-dimensional being that cannot just live as a slave or property of someone else as they do tend to make claims to be interested and want to help us flourish as a human being and slave but the reality is they have their own shit to deal with too. Also as a slave we give our power away to the other and yet we may need that to deal with our own life issues as well as recognise transference can take place where we attribute dis-ease feelings and thought to things that are coming from our BDSM lifestyle when actually there are other things that we need to attend to in our own dimensions which cannot be helped if we are not connecting to a power greater than ourselves and over that of our relationship with the owner. It has taken me a long time to recover from some really destructive years of BDSM lifestyling and disenchantment but am much more sorted now that I see myself as a sub with a responsibility to look after my own needs and protect my inner puppy that is to be treasured by me and made sure I will only let him out if everything is ok.

I had a real battle trying to fight with mental health services to get access to assistance and in fact it took over 3 years which consisted of 13 mental health assessments all diagnosing me as having complex mental health problems needing psycho dinamic therapy. I have been about 5 times and when I told the guy that i try to live for today and recognise that sometimes when my saboteur in my head is trying to destroy me i have a programme which means that as long as i dont pick up a drink or drug (which includes acting out with self mutilation or putting myself in a postion to be abused)it has to get better. The twat then said why life is about suffering. I had become an alcoholic when the BDSM lifestyle became too painful and then ended up homeless and then lived in a crack house without using any drugs or drink until i finally got somewhere to live it was very difficult to get back from where i ended up. I am now a lot happier now that i realise that my Domme is wonderful soulmate and friend who i owe my life to but she is not capable of being responsible enough to look after it. she has her own shit to deal with as do i and when we can connect the shit doesnt exist in that time and space.

pyroaquatic -> RE: I just don't understand (8/17/2010 8:03:31 PM)

Perhaps it is because you are subjective to your self and thus have bias on whatever ailment you think is afflicted you. You are not made to understand the varied complexities of your own nature. Mirrors are important but I think doctors do it best.

Seek an objective observer (as much as that is possible).
