~fr~

I think it is common interests that inspire people to give of their time. I don’t think having a lack thereof, implies ‘unworthy’.

Whether or not someone loves you cannot be determined by their resolve to stay.

I wouldn’t advise attempting to determining self-worth by the interests of another.

When somebody besides the OP thinks this post made sense, let Me know.

Is anybody else getting flashbacks of donkey guy?  Maybe there was an upgrade from a mule to Tinkerbell.

(Speaking of which, does Tink know her pic is on a BDSM site?)

I don't understand what you mean by this.

Sounds like the words of someone who enters relatiohships full of expectations. I prefer a "I'm here for the experience" approach.

You seem to be confused about what is 'need' and what is 'want'.

Profile says the same part of Florida as well, LP.

No one of importance to you is posting because no one can figure out what the hell your OP means. It is garbled and not worth the effort to untangle to attempt to make sense of it.  I don't need a "mob" to tell you what I think. Your posts are not endearing you to anyone, though I'm sure you don't give a damn about that anyway. You live for confrontation so we are actually feeding a troll. Shame on us! Yeah... This is where this thread leads me... OP Take The Hint.

^5  Best response yet.

Okay.. what?

Folks get together, folks break up. Breaking up sucks. We get over it, or we don't.

Is that what he was saying?

Meet enough of someone needs they give you their time.

Putting the onus on someone else to meet my needs is not a wise move. What happens if and when they are no longer there? For me, it's better to meet my own needs and keep my options open. I want to be around people who enhance my life, not who are a requirement for me to actually live.

quote:

Fail to meet enough of their needs they revoke their time.

If you don't put the onus on them in the first place, then you don't need to worry about them taking their time from you. An ounce of prevention etc., etc.

quote:

Vanilla version meet enough needs they fall in love.

I wouldn't know. That's certainly not how I fall in love though.

quote:

Fail to meet enough needs they fall out of love.

Since my love is not predicated on getting my needs met, if I fail to meet my own needs it would really not have anything to do with falling out of love with someone unless *I* was the someone.

quote:

The only thing worse than a loved one passing naturally

due to no fault of their own is someone deciding you

are no longer up to their standards to be a part of their

lives the proof being they go on living without you.

I corrected the grammar and spelling here only because it was quite difficult to understand. I hope you don't mind. People often put expectations on others and tend to raise the bar as time goes on expecting more and more based on their past history.

quote:

heartache is the knowing you are no longer worthy

It can only hurt if you still care yourself.

Yeah, I can understand that.. bad pain sucks.. especially heart pain.

quote:

uncontested divorce is often two parts agreeing the

other is not worth it. Contested, if not over material

items, one person is not to happy about being revoked

as CEO of the others time.

It happens and quite often. All one can really do is mourn the death of the relationship if they are so inclined and then live well.. that's the best revenge.
