So anyway- I was rushing- I bought some hamburger that the neighbor will cook up- for us.  A sweet deal for both- I dont have to cook and she does not have to buy.   In my excitement- I did not have my keys.

I am back in.  Nothing had to be broke.    I gotta be more careful.  lol

Get a big mean dog, or three, and you never have to bother locking!

I used to have a dog.   Right now -the cat is enough.   I dont care for the mess.

I just will have to give the neighbor a key.

Don't bother at the farm.

TV is 15+ years old.

Microwave is 5+ and a Walmart special.

Jewelry is in a safe that weighs more than my car (cost GD more than he will tell me to have it transported and set up but he HAD to have it because it was so COOOOOOOOL).

3 Bitches with attitude and sharp teeth have the run of the house, and have the previously mentioned 'secret weapon' as backup.

There really isn't much worth stealing, considering potential collateral damage.

One VERY snoopy old lady neighbour with a powerful set of binoculars and a rifle.

Oh, and the meth freaks, that live down the road, think I am "cooooooooooollllllllllll". They are a bit.....unpredictable.

But it IS my space...  mine.

And now you know the weak spots at your house...I'd suggest you reinforce it to prevent the REAL bad guys from getting in.

You mean all it takes to excite you is a home cooked meal?  Why are you still single?  People in the midwest don't even lock their doors.  They are crazy.  There is crime here, not as much as in a real city but there is crime.  It just doesn't make the nightly news.  Primarily because there is no nightly news that reports on anything of significance.
Anyway, number one crime in small towns is check fraud.  Of course women will be in the grocery store and leave their purse in the cart, walk away.  No wonder why the jail usually has around 120 people in it and 100 of them are in there for credit card and check fraud.

If you're ever in NE we will cook you a home cooked meal.

-- with the heat- I get into a bad pattern where I just do not eat.   It throws me out of wack.

I do appreciate the neighbor cooking.  We spend time together.    :-)    We go to church together.  She is much older then myself- after mom moved out of state- I dont get home cooking.   :-)

I do not like to hide a key -because crooks know all the places to look.

My furnishings are not impressive at all.

Not in the least.

There is a rumour that we had a home invasion.   The last time tho- the story was fake.

The last home invasion I had was by those damned ladybug looking things. They bite and they stink when smashed.

They also taste AWFUL!!!!!!! (they also are not highly visible in strawberry preserves in semi darkness....)

Go to a joke shop and buy the largest dog shit.  Hollow it out and put a key in it.

Hide it under a bush.

Crooks hate dealing with shit.

I can send you a cow patty, that way it is real shit. In Alaska they sell moose poop to tourists...so a cow patty could be believable.

Put a note on your door that says, "Key?"

So that when you are leaving you will remember to check and see if you have it.
