NekoToy -> Cat Paw Mittens? (8/3/2010 8:02:23 AM)

I am a big fan of pet play – as you might guess from my username I like to act a little feline.

I would sell my soul for some mittens that look like paws and render my hands useless, preferably ones that lock on so I can’t pull them off with my teeth, but I can’t find a pair anywhere! I am tempted to try and make my own but I don’t think I’m skilled enough with my sewing machine yet!

Does anyone know where I could buy a pair?

Regards,

Neko Toy

Ive seen pony hoofs on www.twistmyrubberarm.com that keep your hands from taking them off.

Sub-shop used to have these:

But following the link to the main site leads to nothing. We got a white pair, but she manages to pull them off her hands even when locked. When asked about a restock of black ones, a year or so ago, it sounded like they were going to continue carrying them and get more...but...I haven't seen them reappear on the site. Sadness.

ive made a pair before that I sewed under a spare pair of cheap cuffs I had. You can go to the fabric store and picked up some faux fur (or go to IKEA and get the rabbit pelts), light cotton for the inner layer, and some type of fluff for filler if you want to restrict the movement. Sewing is easy by hand and ive gotten no complaints about wearing them. bratty girls with nails suddenly learn manners

www.twistmyrubberarm.com also has puppy paws too, which could be used a kitten paws, I think black is the only color they come in?

You'd have to mod these to get them to lock, but at PetSmart they might have available a paw-shaped shed-brush mitt. The brush part, being a rubber-type material, is sewn on with easily noticeable (and theoretically just as removable) light stitching.
