Hell, I'd be willing to do it for them for free. Labor of Love. There are somewhere between 30 and 80 new profiles for dommes every day. There would be fewer who attempted to post as lifestylers if there were two categories in the first place, and I could easily go through those and weed out the ones who said they were pros, or asked for a tribute, or any of that sort of stuff. And they wouldn't be deleted - just put in another category.

Nobody said it would be perfect, but you can do something or you can do nothing. Some people seem to think it isn't even worth a try and I can't agree with that. If it's a total failure, then fine. We go back to the old way.

I don't think it would be a failure.

So contact CM and offer your services as a profile moderator. See how that goes, going to management about helping out. But coming onto the forums and complaining about the situation doesn't get their attention in any real way. You only end up with us folks who are tired of hearing about the ProDommes that we never seem to have an issue with...so we're cynical and grumpy seeing this topic YET AGAIN. Take it all in...then do something. Bringing us a suggestion we have no power to implement, or even want to at this rate, is just gonna get you the responses you've had here.

So I'll say it again, go contact CM management and tell them you'd be happy to do the work. Tell us how that goes.

boi

Munches however, do nothing to increase the efficiency of CM. That's why he suggested the idea here.

Thanks. You get it. I've given up the idea that the idea is going to be discussed; it seems to be me that is getting all the attention.

I've noticed this seems to be in a lot of posts -- people who contribute NOTHING to the discussion other than attacking other members.

Your last 3 posts (under this name) have now been about you being attacked, instead of the topic. You've derailed your own thread.

What you really need to start is a thread about getting attention by self victimization.

You're one of the people I was talking about. You clearly enjoy being hostile.

Actually you just emphasised my point, which was that his search revolves around using a website. My advice earlier in the thread was to lose that concept and go and participate in something beyond trolling profiles.
Increasing the efficiency of a primary method I don't endorse isnt therefore high on my priorities.

I already said that the real world was a better alternative in no uncertain terms. That doesn't mean we can't move towards making CM the best that it can be.

As an aside, why shouldn't the site owners be able to use whatever method they deem fit to use to retain members and advertising dollars?

Gee, I don't know...Because people are hurt in the process through scams and the like or are forced to waste their time like the OP has pointed out and there are countermeasures that could be put in place like the ones proposed here to prevent that from happening?

quote:

You or I didn't pay to join this site. Departure is free too. You're a consumer criticizing an essentially free product. I'm sure the futlity of that will sink in at some point.

I create traffic on this site which can be sold to advertisers. Just because I haven't paid money to the site doesn't mean I don't contribute financially to it in an around-about way. And I MIGHT contribute to the site with money had I received any real value from it. It's in their own best interests to keep me here and to improve their service before people like me wisen up and leave, deminishing their ability to capitalize on advertisement and product sales.

This "If you don't like it, piss off." mentality will not solve anything.

So the people who own CM don't read these boards? Even a thread with 100 posts in about two hours?

The community is able to present a much more compelling case than 1 individual guy sending an e-mail in. The site admins probably receive a THOUSAND messages from individuals claiming they know what's right. I doubt they often see a thread that weighs the issues critically and fairly, amongst many members of the community.

Don't underestimate the significance of group decisions.

Yes, its my main kink.

I actually gave you advice (which you asked for) much earlier in the thread. You still haven't responded to it.

Whether you keep saying people are being hostile to you has become irrelevant, because in the meantime, people have been discussing the topic.

All you are doing now is confirming your victimization fetish.

That's what they have moderators for. And mods are only here to make sure we follow the rules, not implement any policy changes. Mods are volunteers only and are not paid...so they tell us.

CM support, on the other side, is the place to go to get the attention and send the message.

It's taken me a while to reply because I went to eat.

I could make a female profile in 10 minutes and in 24 hours have more messages in my inbox, from men AND women, than I have had since my current account which has been around for months has been up.
This is true. But the vast majority of those emails would be utterly worthless-most of them would read something along the lines of 'hey beautiful like u picture wanna make me ur slabe?' (regardless of whether or not you have a picture...), some of them would be obscene, some of them would be threatening, the ones who actually did read your profile would probably be incompatible with you and then *somewhere* in there would be one or two sweeties who have yet to learn that messaging someone before their profile drops off the new user list is a mug's game.

A males experience and a females experience here is not the same. If you think it is you're deluding yourself.
Obviously they aren't the same. But if you think having a female profile here is fine and dandy then you are deluding yourself. I just choose not to let that get me down, and I get on with the business of finding people to enjoy myself with.

But sure, keep complaining. You know anyone viewing your profile can see the posts you make here, right? Is this the sort of attitude you want to present to the women who you might want to take a second look at you?

What you're not understanding is that the community as a whole isn't interested in presenting the case. Take this thread as a sample of community opinions on the subject at hand. Most of us don't care, others are against it because it creates a longer search process (more shit to check off and fill out before pressing the magic button), and a VERY small group wishes to see a change.

The group decision here would be to not change the current search process, if this sample is accurate. So, yes, it is on the OP to make the case to the proper people to complain to.

He's unclear that females into females have less luck than males into females because of the relative frequency of each, isn't he?

Show where he wasn't treated fairly.

Then explain the sock puppet post.

Then explain the 3 posts about perceived hostility while everyone else addressed the issue.

It might help if everyone remembers the price of admission here is a viable internet connection.

There are no tests, I.Q. or otherwise required.

I never made this a referendum about men's experience vs women's experience. This is a post about making CM a more useful tool by allowing it to automatically sift pro-doms from the search results.

If you've got problems with YOUR experience, make a post proposing solutions to the problems. Don't sit here and shoot down the solutions suggested by others.

ABSOLUTELY. I have NO problem meeting and attracting women in real life. Finding ones that will beat the shit out of me or let me collar them and treat them like a lowly little dog is a different story. I already said numerous times that I "left the site". That is, I do not expect to find a suitable partner here and only come here for the forums.

Furthermore, I won't NOT stand up for what I believe in just so girls will like me. Anyone who does needs to reevaluate what's important to them.

Hey hey hey, don't speak for me please, honey-I have plenty of luck! Females into females have a head-start IMO, because any female on this site gets bombarded by inappropriate mail from men, so we look better in comparison, frequency be damned

(And I'm pretty sure you get lucky on a regular basis. Just sayin )

VC (who cannot resist making inappropriate comments about MsKitty and Jen because they are both hot.)

I'll be patiently awaiting the day you have an actual contribution to this discussion. A smart girl like you should know by now that trying to pick on me is not an effective strategy and it simply demonstrates how childish you can be.
