What movies did you absolutely love, that you later recognized as being very D/s? Why?

For example... I loved:

1. Labrynth - David Bowie omg and that power exchange at the end, be still my heart!
2. Drop dead Fred - talk about pushing a girl's boundaries! And being right all along!
3. Beauty and the Beast - Gaston = wannabe, Beast = worthy!

And please, we all love professor Snape and Darth Vader so let's hear what else you loved!

9 and a half weeks

Remember watching long before I entered into an M/s dynamic and saw it is as no more than a film with with odd sex in it, now I very much see it as a film about D/s relationships.

I know this is hokey but I swear get past Madonnas acting and Swept Away to me at that time was neat. Plus the male actor she calls Master was not hard to look at and his accent was yummy.
Alot of the above ones as well. David Bowie killed me when I was little I didn't know what I was feeling I was prepubescent but something happened.

My favorite all time movie is "The Quiet Man" with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. I've loved this movie since i was a girl but never knew why. Now that i've been introduced to this lifestyle, i get it!

The Quite Man gets my vote. In all of the movies with those 2 actors she was always a sub to him. As a matter of fact i think that is the movie where a woman says to John Wayne "here's a stick to beat the lovely lady with". Soundd like a D/s twist to me.

If ever any woman absolutely dripped being submissive, it was Anthony Hopkins' youngest daughter in "Meet Joe Black".

While the movie itself was generally interesting and non D/s, her eyes and body language were thoroughly mesmerising to me - and all within a vanilla dynamic without any real Dom to respond to and bring it out in her.

Unfortunately, I've long since forgotten her r/l name and don't know what other movies she's been in. Perhaps she's a CM member reading this...? lol

Focus.

I loved Labyrinth too!!

PS: Did you take your name from the movie that had Katherine MacCormack in it?

Claire Forlani - now THAT'S a familiar name. Been awhile since I've seen the movie but there's no forgetting those eyes - and how quickly she dropped them and obeyed when her angry father (Hopkins) was venting. (We Doms don't drool, we salivate....)

Focus.

The old black & white Tarzan films with Johnny Weissmuller. When he would grab Jane, swing thru the tree then just drop her on her arse in his tree house or on the jungle floor I swooned. That chest beating thing he did when he says"Me Tarzan, you Jane did me in.
