I do remember how the stimulus bill was passed through the legislature. The economy concerns were then overshadowed by the political interest. Some commentators hostile to Obama called it "porculus" not stimulus. There was lot of truth in it as it becomes evident. My diagnosis is Obama was fresh in office and he used the money to gain political support among congressmen, the depth of the economic troubles were not so clear then.

If somebody is interested in the status of affairs in the job front here is a recent (good) interview with one of the US respected economic bloggers at Canada BNN television network:

She finds Obama approach to job losses strange.

Becomes evident? It was evident then, the Dems just didnt give a fuck. They had a book full of blank checks and could care less how soon they start bouncing.

Well, this certainly is an interesting article. Sort of cracks me up because there always has been a certain amount of spending on crazy projects like this every year. Regardless who has been in office or in congress. It's really nothing new.

These projects represent only a small percentage of the Money that was allocated for the stimulas. The Story would have hit hard with me if a high percentage of the money was being wasted on shit like this. Seriously, this is just showing a slice of politics and spending as usual. Again, has been happening for year regardless who's been in office.

I seriously feel and believe this area can be improved upon in terms of spending, but again it only represented a small percentage of the Stimulas money.

I'm way more interested in seeing the Big whole picture, complete story with where all the money is going or has gone and the Breakdowns with indepth coverage to each of those programs.

I'm sick of news stories or media that refuses to take the time to really give us real news, instead of political spin job bullshit. CBS can kiss my ass for being part of the problem here in America today.
