What is the best male chastity device out there?
I'm interested in practicing chastity for religious and purity reasons to save myself for my future mate.

The best chastity device is your own mind. Putting on a chastity device won't keep you pure in mind, it will just keep you from masturbation. The presence of a chastity device will remind you constantly that you are NOT pure in mind, just not able to fulfill your desire at the moment.

Make a deal with yourself. Every time you wish to touch, punish yourself by doing something like 50 pushups, or a mile run, or anything that is physical and time consuming until the urge passes by sheer physical activity. You'll be in better shape and accomplishing your goal at the same time.

I kn ow what you mean its just that I have a difficult time when I wake up in the morning and sometimes when I go to sleep where I give in to temptation so I was interested in getting some help.
Even being accountable to another would be a big help but there is no one that I am involved with at this time to sheare this with.

People generally wear these devices to become more horny not less, I suspect that wearing such a thing would mostly just cause you to think about sex more.

Positive punishment as peppermint recommends might well reduce the frequency of the desire but won't change your completely normal and natural human impulse. If you want to save yourself for your "future mate", I'd recommend masturbating as a healthy outlet for your urges. If there's a deity watching he's a giant pervert, so don't worry about it.

Positive punishment works fantastic, I have been using it for a week and though I am exhausted from all the mile long hikes I go on I haven't touched myself.

Now to thread hijack just a bit, I see many threads like this asking about chastity devices so I didn't want to open a new one. My question about chastity devices is this, how silent are they? I can imagine not being able to see the chastity device since its in an intimate area only few people should be seeing anyway, but I always see this small metal lock on it and imagine it tapping on the casing.

I work with people who would quickly "blow up my spot" if ever it came to light that I was wearing something like that, so it makes me wonder.
