The issue with intellectual discourse is that the subject being spoken about is so subjective (double use really not intended). For instance I could probably speak about weighty things such as politics, religion, economics, quantum physics, etc., with someone else and maybe not even have to lie in order for neither of us to become bored, but that might not be everyone's definition of 'intellectual'. For others, a lengthier-than-you-imagined discussion of a film might qualify to the dicussors involved as 'intellectual'. There are a lot of situations, and even relationships, where big thinking and talking is really not required. Best someone bring a gag just in case. Jeff
