Most fetish gear web sites tend to sell Sensory Deprivation hoods, Master has been talking about possibly getting one, has anyone tried these? In your experience, do they work? How did it make you feel when wearing one?

Most of them work very well for blocking out eye sight and small (leather or rubber), but they don't really do that great of a job with sound. I would recommend earplugs in addition to the hood.
They will definitely make you feel helpless when you are wearing one.

I have both Leather and PVC hoods in my eBay store if you are interested.

The best one I've seen has been from Extreme Restraints. It's fully locking and blocks out the ability to see, hear and restricts breathing even some as well. With the senses gone you are definitely thrown off balance which is when the fun begins, especially since this one locks so it isn't coming off even if your hands were free (but who would let that happen ).

I like incorporating sensory deprivation as it heightens all remaining senses so even playing lighter seems much more intense of a feeling for the one in the hood.

I believe that is a knock-off of a design from http://www.churchofsinvention.com/. If you want one, I suggest you order from Sinvention. I have some of their gear and it is very nice.

There are only so many ways you can design a sensory deprivation hood... so to some extend they are all similar/knock-offs.
All the pictures I use are of the actual item I am selling. The leather hood I sell is a high quality hood.
The one from sinvention might be a bit nicer, but it also costs roughly $200 more.

We put kitchen sponges over my ears inside the hood They stop most of the sound. A pair of ear buds with white noise would stop all hearing of surrounding noises.

I have some Sinvention gear and it is definitely top quality gear. I planned on picking up their hood with some small modifications

I have the Sci-Fi hood from Madame-S (or Mr. S). http://www.madame-s.com/HT010.html
It's as intimidating to look at as it is effective. Just the look of it strikes fear in the future wearer.

Regarding the posts about the Sinvention hood, I would definitely buy from them. Everything you see similar is a knock off unless they're a distributor for them. The knock offs use cheap, Chinese leather that is processed with terrible chemicals. Who knows how safe that stuff is.
Go with the Sinvention or the Sci-Fi.
