It wasnt in the middle of summer. The pandemic was declared when Mexico admitted to having a silent epidemic for a while before reporting it to the US and the WHO in april. After that, Mexico City was basically shut down.

Two children became ill in the US, toddlers, in early april.

Since that time, 244 children have died because of this flu. There were over 14000 deaths associated with this flu.

If you dont want to take a vaccine, then dont. But dont you dare tell me those children who died died because of some governmental conspiracy.

He's sort of right, in 2008 the WHO controversially (and unwisely IMO) changed it's definition of pandemic. I don't recall the exact wording, but it was along the lines of changing one of the criteria from 'IS causing many deaths', to 'could potentially cause many deaths'.

Under the old definition, flu (including swine) was not a pandemic.....under the new, we're pretty much constantly having several pandemics, including flu....a pandemic that's been raging for the whole of human history :/

Look this is silly in the extreme.

If some shadowy NWO group had enough power to manufacture some lethal drug and label it as a flu vaccine and keep it quiet they would deal harshly with the people spreading the truth since their plan doesn't involve the chosen few and anyone who reads right wing websites surviving.

But even simpler for these supposedly powerful people, secretly produce some smallpox vaccine for the chosen and then have a dupe infected with the CDC's remaining virus take a flight from Atlanta to Tokyo with a layover in LA or San Francisco. By the time his symptoms are indisputable he would have infected hundreds. Which would quickly be millions.

That sounds right.

So what ordinarily would have been a good plan became a sham.  An excuse to sell medicines when the need was iffy at best.

There are some people who are suspicious of everything, PA, whether or not their suspicions have merrit.

As to your posts: you know that was never the case with me, PA.

However, 14,000 deaths is not a "sham". People got sick, people died.
It may have been an over-reaction, but it was not a sham.

As I stated before, I did not get the shot last year, as a matter of fact, I didn't get either one.

This year, I probably will. I didn't get it last year because I just didn't get around to it. I do generally get flu vaccines because my susceptibility to asthmatic bronchitis and other issues puts me in a high risk group AND I trust my doctor. It is not blind faith; I have been with her for 8 years.

This year everyone will get the shot.

Why?   Because it is an all in one flu shot.

I wonder if they go up in price.    They were $25 - but as much as $100 some years.

I have no plan to get a flu shot this year.   I do plan to have vit C, D, etc on hand.   My immune system if pretty good.

Just out of interest, did you receive vaccinations for TB, smallpox, rubella, polio and the like as a kid? Do you have any fillings?
If so, isn't that a bit of a flaw in your argument about your robust health and Conanesque* perfect body?
