Shit, if we didn't get severe weather, I'd have bought myself some land in the countryside and plopped down a double wide, with a big-ass pole barn. Just call me a native Californian redneck!

Aylee, I'm not seeing it as much as age itself, but whether her window of opportunity is still open. The name Clinton evokes an age where the economy was still strong and we were not tied down in two longrunning wars that may not be winnable.

By 2016, the Clinton mystique will live only in those with long memories...

I am not so sure about that. The Kennedy's and Camelot are still very much a part of the American mystique.

I don't know Steven, Hillary is nothing if not ambitious! If she sees weakness in Obama she'll strike and it looks like that's the case. Obama is aloof, not connected to The People and not a good manager and that's what we need in the W.H., a good "manager."
And of course Hillary must know that age is becomming a factor for her. Also in her favor will be a bad economy over the next two years with high unemployment.
They're calling that, "the new normal." So Hillary is going to have PLENTY of artillary to fire at Obama!
Also, she probably thinks, with that tremendous ego of hers that the job is "rightfully hers!" She's not really acting like a Sec. of State but more like "the president" with all of her "pronouncements" about differant countries and policies. It's plain to see that being Sec. of State just isn't fulfilling for her. She's like, "the president in waiting."
I just can't see her "not" running in 2012.
Also, there's a lot of people who like her and want her to run.
