When does it all stop ? These are just names.

Don't you understand that ? If not I will be back to provide further instruction.

"we shall put forth to the people minor points for them to debate and decide, to give them the illusion that they are free and in control of their own destiny. All the while we shall work towards our own goals, at their expense".

Ask me who said that.

The US needs universal health care, not universal health insurance. Not going to happen because of lobbyists.

Outsourcing and employing illegals needs to stop. It won't because companies making all that money are buying people off.

The US is not a democracy, it's a capitalist country run by lobbyists. Our government isn't for the people. It's for the corporations. As long as lobbyists are allowed, what the people want will never matter.

Probably Edward Mandell House. W. Wilson's right hand man and son of a British merchantilist and banker.

I've never thought liberal/conservative really works when discussing American politics (Ralph Nader aside): how about hard right/slightly less hard right instead?

I don't think it was Tom Baker, so was it Jon Pertwee or Peter Davison?

Was it the Ayatollah Khomenei? I know it wasn't the Shah, and it definitely wasn't Mossadeq.
