Ok, the first time the mistake happened, where the batting in the Christmas square was on the outside, and not on the inside where it belonged when I turned it right side in, was funny. No big deal, it's not like it was ruined or nothing, it's still a perfectly good ornament, the batting is just on the outside, and to get it right next time, just reverse the order of things that should fix the mistake. The second time the batting was STILL on the outside and not on the inside where it belonged I was perplexed. I thought the reason the mistake happend was I constructed it like a sandwich, only I put batting and the fabric in the wrong order. It was fabric, batting fabric, so I tried fabric, fabric batting, and nope, still wasn't right. Either way I am still proud of myself, I thought of this Christmas ornament with no pattern, and with no website giving me the idea, I just looked at the fabric, and thought "you know, that'd be a cute miniature 4 square quilt ornament. So I ironed the fabrics pinned them cut and sewed them!
