Local Official: “Oil just started BUBBLING OUT” of the ground; “Thick, black oil” that “did not appear to have been dispersed” (VIDEO)

On a Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana barrier island “oil oozes from a foot or two underground,” according a report by Fox 8 New Orleans.

P.J. Hahn, the Plaquemines Parish Coastal Zone Director the compared it to “Jed Clampet’s oil — All we need is the theme song to ‘The Beverly Hillbillies’… Oil just started bubbling out.”

I admit it, I thought about Jed when I read the thread title too. Oil just popping up like that. Maybe Mother Nature has had enough of us tearing shit up and decided "you want oil, I'll give you oil" I wonder where it will pop up next?

Status: offline 		Cool.  Bubbling out of the ground is good.  Leaking from undersea well is bad.  It's nice to have some good news for a change.
