Twoshoes -> RE: Who knows their Meyers-Briggs type? (8/11/2010 2:47:15 PM)

This Myer-Briggs thing is only indicative of a pattern in which your brain processes and outputs information. It's not some cold reading bullshit. I'd be INFP, but you probably could have guessed that from the OBVIOUS profile picture. I gained some useful insights from this a long time ago: - Figuring out why I get along so well with artistic personalities, even though they don't EVER understand me. (And they are no longer expected to). - Figuring out to stop taking people's judgements personally. (I fail at this alot still.) Alot of judgmental people will probably never like me; I just cannot help myself messing up their rules with my careless attitude. (I apologize in advance). - My Thinking is really well developed, so it's quite easy for me to deal with those T-personalities by translating what I'm feeling into analytical concepts. - Figuring out what introverted means - I was so confused since I LOVE social interaction: talking, teasing and giving speeches. It just means all my motivations/decisions come from within and I'm hard to influence one way or the other. Plus, I have a crazy wild imagination I can daydream with when someone annoying is talking to me. And strangely enough I'm way different from most INFPs, simply because I chose when I was 18-19 to quit trying so hard and adopt my SFP friends purely hedonistic approach to life. The other option is to channel all that perfectionistic drive into a dream. I picked having a good life as my dream. Yep, INFP is pretty damn cool, if you figure out how to abuse your strengths and work hard on your weaknesses. [;)] Definately delegate anything that doesn't come naturally - like organizing a closet or something mind numbingly repetative. Then give out compliments - INFPs are talented at making people feel good. Btw, an INFP CAN lead, it's just an inspirational style. Appoint a manager for the gritty parts :). I hope this helps you two INFPs out.
