No. If I had the money it would take to buy it, I would buy something newer and smaller. And yeah, way too many bad memories there. I'd have to burn a LOT of sage to clear out all that bad ju ju.

Greetings Yes if I had the money for more than one house then I would by my childhood home. I had a good and happy childhood, off course there where problems, but all in all I was happy there is allot of good memories in that house. However it is not my dream house so if I was looking for a place to live it would not be the house I grew up in. I wish you all well.

My mother still lives in my childhood home. They remodeled extensively after all the kids left (my father was a contractor, so they could afford it with him doing the work), so it hardly is the same to me when I walk in. She's lived there since 1958 and will only leave in a box. I don't stand to inherit it (it's complicated)and feel no loss because I have no desire to live in NY again. Also, I feel no obligation to have to clean it out when she passes. (Evil grin thinking of my sister having to do it). On the other hand, I live closest to my Grandmother (98), so when that chore arises, I will probably have the responsibility of that one.

My childhood home is a housing project. So I couldn't buy the apartment. I could buy the entire thing. But probably not, And if I did I would levelt the whole thing to the ground. And if you gave me a fiddle I would probably give you a fairly good impression of Nero.

I bought My grandparent's home from the estate when My grandfather passed about 10 years ago. It was built in '39 and has some really awesome hardwood floors. Ive done some work and remodelling on it and plan on leaving in a box.
