baddies in movies always wear black - we wear black - maybe if we went for soft pastels [:)]

A lady where I worked bought me some sweat shirts for my birthday one year. She got all bright happy colors. She said she picked those colors because she noticed I almost always wore black and thought I could use some color

If you were real submissives, you wouldn't even be wearing clothes!

OP, things are worse than you may think.  In the Phil Masters case here in Colorado, a teenage boy was convicted of murder mostly based on some S&M doodles he made.

Granted not all people without empathy end up commiting crimes, some are still motivated by morals or principals.

Most make it into politics or corporate management.

Really. There's apparently statistics on this.

I too enjoyed the Lady Heather shows. Grissom was the only one who didn't judge her. In this episode he even went to her to get an idea about the killers thought process.

The other show I mentioned was called "The Investigators" It is a true life crime show, not scripted.

lally2,

I am guessing too that there have been real instances that people have falsely hidden behind BDSM when in truth they did abuse someone. That sure doesn't help.

for sure! - what i meant was that IF youre a D and youre genuine in youre motives - abuse doesnt come into it.  but yes, there are inadequate people who see this as a free licence to abuse, but then we would call it abuse too.  but even for us at times the lines get fuzzy - the pro-anna, pro-mia thread for instance.  the subs involved have given their consent and so, in a way, we lose our footing as to whether that is abuse of power or not.

I came to CM via CSI. Katherine was talking to Lady Heather and mentioned a website. Out of (more than casual) interest, I went to the website (LadyHeather.com, I think).

Thank You CSI!!
