Sorry, LadyH. I have T-Mobile. I don't know how Verizon works but it should be similar to the way T-Mobile operates. If you have trouble with selecting and installing a ringtone from the phone itself, the Verizon website should be a simpler way to install a ringtone without using your phone. Basically, you find one you like, select it, pay for it, give the site your phone's number, hit "Send", and it gets uploaded to your phone, which then (supposedly) auto installs it. Then again, maybe Verizon's site is set up in no way the same as T-Mobile's. Oh... my familiar calls use Richard Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries". Otherwise, it's "Ode to Joy". Both are pre-installed ringtones that came with the phone.
