I just took a sleeping pill. Can't sleep...(never could, even as a youngster). Just took 3 "DHEA" pills...something to do with building up my testosterone (not that there's anything wrong with that). Also took some other pill, cholesterol. Was told that an aspirin a day at night is a good thing as well....took that. I'm full now...don't want any dinner.

Well I am a chronic insomniac, I spend more nights tossing and turning than I do awake. I blame my mother, grandmother and great grandmother, all of them were insomniac's too So strange, look at my grandmother's family medical issues and I can point to just about each and every one

This will sound odd. For the past week- I sleep good. I drink alot of water. I chug about a gallon - and somehow even tho I get up to pee- I cycle into a more complete sleep this way.

Via wiki...I presume since the thread was titled acronym you wanted to know what the acronym meant? 5-Dehydroepiandrosterone (5-DHEA) is an endogenous[1] steroid that has been implicated in a broad range of biological effects in humans and other mammals. DHEA is produced by the adrenal glands, gonads, and the brain.[2] It acts on the androgen receptor both directly and through its metabolites, which include androstenediol and androstenedione, which can undergo further conversion to produce the androgen testosterone and the estrogens estrone and estradiol.[3] DHEA is also a potent sigma-1 agonist.[4] It is considered a neurosteroid.[3]
