Friggatriskaidekaphobia...
     Yes it's a real phobia...
         Here comes the question...
In this large community of ours is there anyone who has or knows someone with this as a legit phobia????

Cangrats Big, you sent me to Google to find out what that means.

Murphy told me that you make your own luck. I know what that means and try to live by it. I am not afraid of luck and am a competent gambler. But if I change my behavior of Friday the 13th it is not because of what luck will do to me or what I might do to myself, it is what others might do.

I mean my main concern is what this does to other people, that they might Tbone me on the highway or run me over in the street. Hopefully most people with this mental abberation stay at home that day.

I believe that with alot of people, if they're convinced something bad will happen, they will subconciously make it happen. I do think about things, for example I do not go out on New Year's Eve. It's what we call amateur night, and even with a designated driver I would prefer to stay home. It's very similar in nature. But still, I am 99.9% stupidstition free.

Happy Birthday to the Friday the 13'rs.

I didnt really have a problem with that day and still do not, except the time I got in a bike accident and broke some bones and all that boring stuff on Friday the 13th. Good times.

Actually Termyn8or,

Statisticly there are less accidents on the highway, and less traffic in general when a Friday falls on the 13th. The same thing for most crimes. I think it is because there are alot more people who are superstitious so they just stay home. But that is just my thoughts and the little bit of reserch I've done.

"Statisticly there are less accidents on the highway"

So are we now actually looking at a good disease ?

We might have to stop over to "Whatthefuckisms" on this. If people are acually more careful on that day, why not every day ?

I don't consider phoibias a disease. But more people are probably careful on that day because they are worried that things will go wrong. And I think that because alot more people opt to stay home, there are less people on the road and therefore less accidents.
