and can anyone answer but myself??? I'm a free spirit, a traveller. My home is really where I lay my hat, my prefered sexual tastes have led me here. I'm a submissive female with a very independant nature... in my real life and online in more vanilla surroundings I attract submissive males, it seems to be the way my life. Online I struggle with some of the attitude of the 'Doms' that contact me - I'm hoping not to offend anyone here, not sure I'll manage that!!! In lots of litrature I read they say 'if your into the Dom/sub lifestyle,turn off your computer now'...but where do I go?? Confused.com xx

It "works" by you using your own common sense and listening to your instincts. The Net allows anonymity for all manner of wannabes and arsewipes to behave in a manner they'd never dare in front of a r/l female. It also allows married types to cheat without actually cheating in r/l, so expect to get led on by horn-dogs who will always have an excuse to avoid actually meeting. You're female AND submissive, plus you're "new meat" onsite; your inbox will get flooded by timewasters, horndogs and net geeks. Even worse for you if you tend to attract submissive males, as well.... But mostly it'll be "doms" hoping you're naive enough to be guilted by your own submissive label and stroke their obnoxious ego's in anyway they demand of you. Hence the warning about serious peoples turning off their computer.... But smart people can negotiate the malaise - just stick to your principles and treat the obnoxious (or anyone, really) as they treat you. Just don't ever think you're gonna make everyone happy or that it's actually possible to answer all the mail you get. Reply to the sincere (less than 10%) and ignore and even block the rest. And welcome... :) Focus.

Where do you come up with 10%? I ask because everyone that i have contacted has acted authentically, and the ones i've met from cm are DEFINITELY authentic. The majority of cmails i get are regular cmails - nothing fake or poser there. I think 10% is grossly underestimated.

Hi Kadu - welcome to cm! You will find there are a fair few 'internet warriors' who demand you follow their instructions and immediately bow down to their domly pixels. Not saying these are ALL bad guys - they're just not the sort of guy I'm looking for - and I guess you're the same. My response is to interact politely, tell them nicely that you don't think it's appropriate that they call you 'girl', or make demands. If they choose to be offended, then so be it. They're not the one for you. Ignore and move on. Those who send offensive 'on your knees bitch' type messages - just report the message, block and move on. Don't respond to them and feed their sad, fragile, lonely little egos. You will find good guys on here. I have personally met several wonderful guys - even had relationships with one or two! Just keep ploughing through the crap and every now and then someone who meets your standards/needs/criteria/whatever will appear. Stay positive! [:D]

You use the computer as the tool it was meant to be, find the munch that is closest to you, and then you attend at the date/time specified. If you don't want to deal with the crap that is on the internet, it's not really a requirement. People were doing this thing long before it became electronic. It can still work that way.

best way is to get yourself a profile on informedconsent dot co dot uk. There is a section in there which lists all the local munches throughout the UK. You don't give your general location, so I can't help further. Note I said "my own mail ranks less than 10% sincere". No reference to individual senders.... If "DarkSteven the statistician" really must nit-pick over semantics, do take the time to absorb that which you read BEFORE making with the corrective lecture. Using my own mail here and after checking with Neets, our combined mail is roughly spam,wankers, and our friends who have problems with the eritten word in Ghana. The rest, (50%), appear to me genuine with half of those are people here in CM who I have had the pleasure of enjoying their company here on the boards. Some have even become firm friends or at least good acquaintences in the real world too. Yet I do know some whose mail comprises of roughly people showing real interest (2% to 20%) and the bulk are agreesive, rude wannabes, spams artists, scams arttists and our folk from Ghana. I would then postulate that both the "newness", gender and content of the profile, not to mention the addition of enticing photos if posted, attracts the ratbags but probably doesn't drive away the good people.. Some like me prefer to size someone up on the boards first for a while prior to making some form of contact.

I don't understand how so few people say that there are so many fakers and pretenders or idiots on this site cm, and make so much noise about it. What I think it is that these people who complain are the Master/bottoms who are not accepted by who ever they reply to their profiles or do not hear from them again after the first response they send to them. Just because you are not accepted by someone DOES NOT MAKE THEM FAKERS OR INSINCERE it is because they are not interested in YOU, period.
