I need a portable, lightweight restraint that is effective for holding a burly man's wrists to the wall.

Problem is: hotel suites while on a vacation don't exactly lend themselves very well to bolts, screws, brackets or hoists.

Other than portable furniture or crosses, have any of you Ladies come up with an interesting portable restraint?

I'm talking hardware, here, not ropes or bondage. Not bedframe ties. Been there, done that already.

I've been looking at that funky pullup exercise bracket that hooks over the top of the crownwork on a doorjamb, trying to figure out a modification for it what will work..... Something along those lines.

Anyone have any great links or ideas? Something new?

Thanks in advance,

TM

EZ Chin Up Bar - for the top half

then an sit up bar for the bottom half

they both are portable and require no installation..

I was thinking the same thing, b/c I use a pull-up bar over top my kitchen doorway. Some bars bolt into the doorways, but you don't want to do that in a hotel and foot the bill for repair work.

Unless the sub in question is of the handy-man variety and has his own tub of drywall compound, tape, and putty knife collection.

Lifeline Power Up Chin-Up, is under twenty dollars on amazon:
  • Portable and lightweight.
  • Great for traveling or at the office.
  • Slip the rotator door attachments over any 3-hinged door near the hinges, close and lock door.
The same with the sit up bar.. they range depending on the maker from btwn 8.00 and 19.00 .. so for under fifty you have a portable bondage set up..

I was thinking the same thing: http://www.swtchr2.com/accessories.htm

They are listed half way down the page as over the door restraints. Because they go over the door, it usually puts one right near the entry, which might not be the best for sound. However, if you are going to be doing flogging, the sound will go out the door even if you are further away. Whenever I check into a hotel at BDSM conventions, I can tell I am on the right floor because as soon I begin to walk down the hall, I can hear flogging sounds ;-)

    Cheers,

    Sea

My first thought was something similar to what Sea suggested - only home-made. PVC pipe with the straps wrapped around it - put the pipe on one side of the door, the straps on the other, and there you go ... and cheaper than you can buy them if you have the time to make them.

We very much enjoyed using the door corner restraints. Over the door were fine, as well. Just in time for our weekend jaunt. Many thanks to all who posted!

There was a drawback as far as noise was concerned, but we ran into no serious complications. Possibly because the hotel staff kept the laundry going in the room next door, at the very end of the hallway.... lololololol

    All the best: TM

a chin up bar and a set of cuffs or zipcuffs.

I promise no one, no matter how burly, is breaking a pair of S and W cuffs.
