Status: offline 		I am sometimes wondering what quirks or habbits other people have...meaning things in day to day life they do...

eg when I am at my parents house which is about once a year I usually only go upstairs to my bedroom there in darkness at late night and preferably with one of their cats...thats because I have no interest to potentially face a really huge and ugly crawly critter there, thinking, if there is one, then I don't wanna see it now....and also if there is one then the cat might defend me

Another quirk of me is that it is highly unlikely to meet me without my drink with me...I feel incredible uncomfortable when I don't have a drink with me (independent from the weather) as I need the comfort to know if I need a drink or just a sip of it, eg due to a dry throat or so, that I have it there...

Now....anyone else with....quirks or habbits???

Status: offline 		I wash My dishes before putting them in the dishwasher.  I don't mean I rinse them.  I mean I fully wash them, just as I would if they were going in a drainer rather than the machine.  It makes no common sense, it wastes water and electricity, and I do it anyway.

Status: offline 		If I am eating a takeout burger, I take it apart and eat the bread, then the veggie stuff, and then the burger.

I cant drink from a cup or can unless I have a straw. It just feels...weird.

I am left handed, but am utterly useless when it comes to turning doorknobs, or sticking my key in the lock, and using scissors.

I have to shower with my glasses on.

I sleep better when someone is in bed next to me snoring.

Status: offline 		I brush my teeth too much.  I have a friggin ocd issue with my teeth and I'm slowly going to destroy them. 

I bite my nails, its why I have to have the crooked acrylic on them.

I can't drive in the left lane on one of the parkways in New York, I get a bad feeling in that lane. 

If I get a bad feeling about something I have to stop whatever I'm doing and count to ten.

I bit the inside of my lip when I'm aggravated. 

I used to plant a garden in Florida and all the rows had to be exact.

I had a housekeeper and I had to clean prior to the housecleaner cleaning.

I better shut it now, cause I'm starting to feel totally self conscious.

The rest of me looks good tho.    Marine haircut- nice shades- cool shirt and shorts.    Nike shoes.     At least I put the good shoes on.  I have some really worn out ones I wear- and - well they should be slippers.   I do own a new pair too- but I wish I could disable the battery in those shoes.  (really) + plus they are not comfy yet.  When I step the heal does a light show.  Maybe if I put them in the microwave I could disble the light in them. -  oh- I DID shave today-  not as close as I like it - but shaved.

I went to pick up a rx.   My sleeping pills.  I just did not want to run out of them.

wow, that reminds me on my mom who did this but in her case it was as her dishwasher wasn't really working anymore at all...so at some point I had enough and bought her a new one together with my dad for xmas...now she stopped that habbit...but interesting, just wow

reminds me that I have the habbit of bending keys...

seriously when a key is twisted a little bit...and I used it, it was me. At work I don't mention that anymore as I don't want them to blame me but one employer found out as there I broke 2 master keys in one night

Uhm...I am pretty sure that batteries and microwaves are NOT two things that go together.

I have broken a key off in a trunk because I was using my left hand to turn it, as I had stuff in the right. Its a good thing the car was heading to the junk yard, and it had the trunk push button thingy inside the car, or I woulda been in it DEEP!

Status: offline 		I "talk with my hands" so animatedly that I distract people. Their eyes begin following my hands instead of looking at me and that snaps me out of it

My morning routine is so set (done in a certain order) that I have a hard time if something occurs to throw a wrench in it. I will not elaborate because it's tiring just thinking about it

When we go to our local grocery store, I absolutely HAVE TO start with the produce section and work my way through the entire store from that side. Master pushes the cart in the door and playfully starts down the aisle straight ahead of that entrance (which is the WRONG side of the store, thank you) and I almost freeze because I know I'm going to play hell trying to think going backwards like that. Then He chuckles and turns toward the produce section or we'll be there all night

When I get to the library in the morning to open, I go in and do things a certain way and in a certain order. Again, like with the morning routine at home, it's weird when it gets changed by some weird occurrance. When I leave for the day, my desk is in perfect order with nothing lying around not filed or stacked neatly and the desk calendars (2!) are both changed to tomorrow's date as is the one at the circ desk if I'm the closer out there.

I crack my knuckles alot.

Wow, reading over this is strange. I'm way more anal than I had imagined

i stir food clock-wise and scrub dishes counter clock-wise.
and house-work isn't 'done' until after i light a stick of incense.

Status: offline 		I have ocd. When I get up, I go through the same routine every morning: Bathroom, brush teeth, coffee, get computer and book, sit in the same chair, coffee on the left with ciggies, ashtray on the right, cell phone on the right. I go to email then fet then cm.

When I clean I have a routine...dust, sweep, mop.

Same thing when I shower lol wash hair, wash self, put in conditioner, shave, rinse hair and I always go from left to right.

Mess with my habit/routines and it shoots the whole day
