Personally, I would think it quite adorable if you just sent him a link to this post and said something like "I posted this about you in the forums...who's advice should I have followed? :)"

In addition to the above advice, ask him a few questions about things you want to know or things in his profile that struck you as interesting or worth exploring more. It'll set you apart from others if you do so. So very few people ask questions in a letter to a stranger. It's hard to understand as question-asking is a clear sign of interest and flattering as well. I always ask questions, because if someone is interesting enough to approach first, for whatever reason, I tend to want to know many things about them. :) Don't ask him too many though, unless you know how to finesse an interrogation with humor or something else that defuses it. ;)

Me too. It would make an interesting premise for a short story.

Didnt have time to read everyones replies.
Read his profile.

Write him and
Introduce yourself
What you noticed you liked about his profile
and finally what you are looking for in a relationship.

Those three things will show how serious you are and that you are NOT just copy/pasting the same message to 300 different dommes...

If his profile is Genuine then hopefully he will reply with an equally well thought out well written email.

I don't typically stress like this over someone but honestly I feel a little out of my league.

Whoa there! Don't go thinking that for a second.

You rock, you're foxy, your profile is short but well written and there's very little "downside" - go for it!

I appreciate all the advise yall gave. I did write him after that and received a response back pretty quickly. He was very nice but told me he wasn't seeking right now. Oh well nothing ventured nothing gained I suppose, at least he was thoughtful enough to respond I have noticed a lot of people don't do that much. As often as I see guys complain about girls not writing back I always find it amusing when a guy will fail to have the courtesy to say thanks but no thanks.

I'm sorry to hear that-but it means you jumped a confidence barrier, right? Now the next time you see an awesome profile you know you are equipped to deal with the situation

I would just simply approach and be honest, from your heart.  I'd love that a lot in a slave doing that to me.

Good job anyway. Your message must have been sweet enough to get a courteous response on this cut-throat site.

Only sure way to lose is to never try.
Timing is sadly mostly luck.

If you base all of your interactions on how people appear, you will certainly fail. You really have to let people define to you what leauge their in. That beautiful girl next door could be longing for a guy like you, but if you're afraid to talk to her you will never know.

I wasn't basing the out of my league comment on his looks but on his level in the community, he is very well known and is one of those people they put on advertisements for events. He is a strong person in the community and I am not. As far as looks he is maybe a 7. I'm nowhere near shallow enough to base something on looks.

He's a guy.  No matter how famous he is, outside the spotlight he probably still farts and belches and leaves the toilet seat up.

A comedian once commented on all the supermarket mags with covers advising how to get your guy in bed.

"Come on--they're guys! How to get them into bed? Show up! Bring beer."
