I don't see why not (don't take it as an invitation though... chuckle).  However, living in NY, why would you want to?  Short of a few places on the West Coast, I can't think of any better place where you could find a connection with someone who is gay or bi. 

A lot depends on what you mean by service, and "acceptable".  Back in the day, contact in the scene between straight and G/L people was pretty common.  Once the straight BDSM scene grew, and especially when it went online, the G/L part went its own way, probably for good reasons.  Before that, "acceptable" was not really an issue, because the gay and lesbian BDSM scene was the majority.  Straight Tops who were new sometimes had to apprentice with Gay Tops because there were few other options if you wanted to learn something.

So I don't see an issue, aside from sexuality.  Service is not really gender-specific.  It only becomes that if we sexualize it for our own gratification.

I agree with Falcon40. Service is service. Sex does not need to play a part of it if we don't wish it to. I would say your biggest issue is not how to make yourself more acceptable but in actually finding straight Dom men that are open to having a gay man being in service to them.

As a Mistress not looking for sex with Her slaves, I can tell you that I have been approached by a number of lesbian females wanting to be My slave.  So it's not hopeless... although, there's the whole "male" thing, but still, don't lose hope! Just be honest in your profile and communications, I'll bet you can find someone! :)

Very possible, i know a Master who would take you in a second, if you were in the right country. i know thats not much help, but hey, there must be others straight men out there who would appreciate a gay male slave, especially one, dare i say it, as pretty as you. i personally am a lesbian slave with a Master, so i know for a fact there are Dominants out there who will enter into non-sexual relationships with slaves.

Though the case is somewhat different, it's still an example of the ability to serve in a rather 'unconventional' situation. Master Jim and slave Marsha are very good examples of how a D/s relationship can work. Master Jim is a 'gay leatherman' while slave marsha identifies as a 'lesbian leatherdyke'. They were International Master/slave 2001. I had the honor of speaking with them both last year at FallFest here in Nashville. They are wonderful people.

Keep the faith.  Himself is straight male and takes on both genders for service, so it's very possible. Attitude is everything, so just be tenacious. You're a doll so you shouldn't have to much trouble. ;)

Such use of txt terminology is something I refuse to recognise at any time....Frankly if you are too lazy to write the words correctly says little of you as a suitable slave for anything except labour....

Why not say what you really mean, Grizz. lol It's rather ironic that, I just received an inquiry from a Gay slave that lives in NYC last night and tonite this one posts to My mailbox.
  I've trained slaves for others and the majority of them were male slaves being trained for their new owners, most of whom were weekend players, but, I did manage to pass along enough of My Craft that the slaves are in less danger than they would have been if I had defered.
  I have been seeking slaves of any gender; tall ones, short ones, naughty ones, virgins are healed under My weight, novice or jaded, just guide one to Me that's seeking to serve Me and My House and its goals instead of trying to obtain more masturbatory fodder for their sock collection.
    I'm sure that if you answer true and to the best of your ability, describe what it is that would meet your needs or imperatives and admit that they are secondary to the Masters will, I'd think that you'll find an owner.

I suspect your pool of potential masters would be more limited, but really see no reason you should not be able to find what you are looking for....if what you seek is purely a service relationship, then your sexuality means nothing, and if you seek a sexual relationship...well then to my mind it doesn't really matter what the gender of the mouth doing the sucking....but then again I am not really staright, so perhaps I am wrong on this. So I pose this question to the straight male Doms out there.....does it matter if it is a male or a female doing the oral servicing?

thanks for noticing Sir...always, since i was a boy, felt attracted to Straight Boys and Men and wanted to do things for them....knew i wasn't the same, knew my place was to do their homework, carry sneakers, do shit like that.....almost like an inborn instinct Sir

its possable sure, is it limiting in the posabilitys one has. probely. but that dosent mean impossable, as others have said, service is service, there is not, and in many cases is not, a sexual service component. so sexuality should not matter, but its always up to matters of taste. how you serve is not determened by sex/sexuality i beleave.  would i take a straight male on, probely not, because im looking for one to fill may roles in our house., and because i dont belive in forceing sexuality on one. and at some point sexual service will be included in the relationship.  but as strictly a servent if i was looking for one, then yeah the sexuality or sex even would not matter. only there willingness to serve.

Houseslave, what you need most to gain is education, experience and self-confidence in The Lifestyle.  There are Male Doms that have both male and female submissves  and/or slaves.  What is greatly in your favor is that you live in NYC.  The oldest S&M organization in the country is there, TES, http://www.tes.org/
Go check out their munches, workshops, parties, etc.

My orientation is primarily straight and I have trained and played gay guys before.   I think that the labels of straight, bi and gay can be a bit arbitrary.  I am sure you can find a fit though.

Maybe you need a person who does not look at domination in a strictly sexual light. There are more than you think out there who get a visceral pleasure out of pure control interactions.

I think this society is far too stuck on sex as the only bonding mechanism available to people. For my part-I always enjoyed purely dominant relations with girls I used to date. There was a purity and lack of ulterior motive which made it seem so much more sincere to me.

I never had to guess is they were purely enjoying being of service-or if it was merely grudgingly given as payment for sex play.

I hate feeling like a gigolo-so this worked MUCH better for my headspace.

In my experience masters don't really care about your gender, but if you are going to approach a hetero-master, then just procede with caution and respect. And if he turns you down, it's just not his thing. Some straight men like a submissive male bitch....LOL
