Being *old-ish* myself , tattoo's were something my dad had, having been in the Royal Navy and it wasn't until I was an adult that I saw any that weren't on a big hairy arm.
A big part of the attraction toward the opposite sex is the differences. The bad habits are what men do, IMO - such as tattoos. It kinda goes with men doing the toughest, dirtiest jobs etc....
And along comes the age of feminism. Not so bad in some ways, until it over-compensates; emasculating men becomes fashionable and we get all that sensitive new-age guy crap and women apparently wanting their "men" to blubber like a child when the going gets tough blah blah.... And of course women invade all manner of traditional male bastions - like tattoos...!
Equality does NOT have to mean emasculating men or doing what men do. But that's exactly how it manifests.... I appreciate feminine qualities - they're HOT. Women with tatts (and body piercings) leave me veeeeery cold.
