I view a lot of profiles. I recently got a cmail from a couple whose profile I had viewed, saying "Maybe if we block your stupid ass, you'll quit looking at our profile." It is SO tempting to view their profile several times a day. I'm not doing it because of the time it would waste, not really because I'm a bigger man than that. But it is tempting!

Busted flat in Baton Rouge, waiting for a train...... Hell, I would do it just because I love to watch doofluses go off..... its like an action movie, good theater out here. It warms the cockles of my heart when they do that.

Do it DS, just to annoy them. Tell them you have to view them because you are doing a thesis on narcissistic assholes and they fit in well with the topic.

I'd be more than willing to view their profile and let them go ahead and put me on block, especially since blocking won't stop the notifications they'll get from my viewing of their profile. Anyone who feels they need to write out a "cease and desist or else" type of note to threaten an action when they can simply engage the "or else" part without all the fuss deserves a bit of a short-term annoyance. add me to the list of "lookie-loos"! I got a message from a guy who told me to stop looking at his profile because it clearly said he was looking for someone under 30, and I was "way too old". The guy was 55 [:'(] He blocked me so I couldn't reply, so I will admit to checking him out several times a day for a few weeks... The he posted something in his journal about 'stupid subs viewing his profile', so I enlisted a few more friends to help. I'm a bad bunny! [:D]

Say you did view it many times a day. Would it even tell a person that you did? I very rarely look at who has viewed mine but it shows a photo of their profile. I've never seen the same photo twice in the rotation. Although I do know for a fact certain people in my local area view my profile pretty frequently. Of course you've got to be pretty bored to view mine. No porn...no interests. Nothing. Just bland and that's the way I like it. Yet I still get enough solicitations, I don't think there is a way to eliminate them all together.

Oh wow I would SO go look at them!! Sub4hire, if you have hidden or blocked someone the red :viewed: letters light up but you don't see the person's name! So it adds to the annoyance. [:D] I wrote in my journal about how surprised at who views me, and wondering why, and I got a couple of really nice responses! Shoot, why have a profile if you don't want it to be looked at?

Short of blocking all mail from a certain gender, not much. I do a lot of deleting unread, it's the simplest thing. I get a LOT of folks from all over the place viewing me, and I just have an artwork avatar now. When I had the sexAY pic, I understood all that clicking. [;)] edited for homonymic slip!

I never understand this. There are so few occasions that I notice someone has repeatedly looked at My profile that the percentage is small enough to hardly even be worth mentioning. I'll notice names from the forums far more often. There's only been one time when it was someone trying to get Me to notice him (that wasn't somebody specifically attempting to be a dick that I had already blocked) and it took him darn near two months with several views a week. (Nice guy, just not close enough for My definition of "local".) I don't scroll down past that top fifteen or whatever it is when clicking the page, so if a person isn't in that top viewing, I'm not going to see it.

I usually get cmail from guys in GB and Holland. I don't mind they viewing me. Its the guys who are "local" wanting to meet me and to be discreet about it. Those I dump because I know that either they are married or live in mom's basement (I sleep on the same floor as my mother does). It is rather strange asking mom to drive me to a hotel so I can do sessions.
