Ok, so the first time I had daddy do it, cause I was afraid, an then it didn't take cause there was no needle in it, n then we put one in an he was gonna do it while I held spike, and I said no let me do it, I need to learn to do this, It's my prediabeties an I need to learn not to be afraid of testing.
So I cleaned my finger, put the lancet to 5 and stabbed, an just like that it was all over an I was bleeding.
Daddy is very proud of me, and I am proud of myself to I went dancing around singing I did it, I did it all by myself I am a big girl!
We may get me some hello kitty bandaids for my fingers after I am done sticking myself as a reward for me remembering to test myself, an for being so brave about it.
It's amazing an how funny the shoe is on the other foot, I want daddy to test his sugar, cause I think it's gonna be high an he said no cause he's afraid of needles, and I said that's ok Daddy I'll do it for you if you need me to an you can look away an pretend it's not happening.
