As I sit here and going through my fetish stuff, I having just found an old aluminium camera case,( which I have sprayed satin black), to adequately house and against inquisitive eyes secure my stuff I got to wonder about others who are similarly interested in wiitwd and do they also have a fet box.

Those that travel for their pleasure with others, do they also carry a box of toys with them and with that came the memory of a friend's fet box described in such a piece of writing that one pictured a subby dragging a trunk around behind them.

So of you, are my thoughts correct, do you carry a box of toys around when you go to meet others and how do you house such things ?

Also the nightmare thought came above boxes and bags bursting open and spewing the contents out for all around to see, has that happened to anyone, or do they similarly dread that possibility ?

(my reason for using a lockable hard sided camera case)

That is my reason also.

But if I get time later, I need to make a set of finger spikes.

I always leave things to the last minute, annoyingly always.

Yup I have a toy bag, and when I travel I take my toys,  for play parties I carry them in a back pack and or a suitcase that rolls if I am taking a lot, if not a lot and traveling they just go in my luggage.

No, I do not dread the suitcase springing open and displaying my sex and bdsm toys, I am not shy or ashamed of them, nor do I feel the need to fear having them in my presence  exposed.

I do travel and take the toys with Me when I go.  In most cases, it's some form of suitcase.  The largest of which, I won't even take with Me unless I am specifically going somewhere with clip.  (I can't lift it when it's full.)  Other times, I'll use a smaller bag that I know I can manage.

Also, I have what I consider "kits".  These would fit more to the box analogy that you are thinking of.  There is the wax kit, the fire play kit, the cupping kit, the medical play kit, and one kit that is separate for needles.   All of these are/were in some kind of box.  The wax kit has outgrown it with the inclusion of the wax pot.

I do also have two foot lockers for toys.  They are impossible to travel with and still be practical.

I recycle things sometimes. I recycled a very nice nylon camera bag and converted it to store and carry all my violet wand supplies. My needle play gear is in a fishing tackle box. I have a small aluminum brief case that housed a complimentary tool set we were given by my employer several Christmases ago. I removed all of the tools (tossing the really cheap ones) and cut a piece of foam to size and cut holes in it and use that to store my Eroscillator. An old canvas shoulder bag that once stored electronics test equipment that I saved from the landfill is perfect for all of my suspension paraphernalia (block and tackle, but/wrist cuffs/chains). The Tetruss© has it's own canvas duffel bag.

I have a small canvas bag that holds my day to day basic toys and two of those pastic bins with the interlocking flip tops to store everything else. Often if I am traveling (not flying) I will select assorted items from asssorted boxes and just upsize my suitcase to carry them among my clothes and other vanilla items. I recently downsized from my environmentally unfriendly SUV to a small sedan so I cannot take everything as I once could but rarely do I use everything so that isn't a problem usually.

We have 3 rolling cases that contain the floggers and whips and rope and all those smaller things like clamps.  Then there is the needle case that was once a tool box.  There is the violet wand case.  There is the estro tech case.  If we keep going some day the whole basement of the motor home will be toys!!!!  As we live in the coach all the time we have the toys always available.

A suitcase under the bed, with a smaller bag packed inside holding all the rope. Which I really ought to go reorganize.

Once I was headed up to Crucible, decided to go to DC early, check out the Museums
This was about 6 months after 9/11
Parking at the Mall was difficult and I was about to give up when I saw an underground garage right up on the Mall (maybe the Post Office HQ) that allowed public parking
Pull up, take my ticket...
Whoops...
Here come two armed soldiers.
They wanna check my vehicle, make sure there are no bombs or anything.
I hear em talking as they run the mirror under the chassis
Still talking when they check the trunk.
Then I hear a bag unzip...and the talking ceases.
Two minutes later one very red faced and abashed female soldier gestures us in and never says a word.

I have an assortment of pink (mostly pink camo) luggage into which my collection stores. Collecting sex toys was one of my earliest forays into being a kinkster, so I have a lot of stuff. Costuming supplies, too. A coupla bins worth of lingerie & fetishwear . ... .

I have noticed the few times I've gone to the big public dungeon that some folks have very nice cases for their toys. These appeared to be some sort of modified injection molded golf club case - at least that is what they appeared like. Tall, with wheels in the bottom and a handle with which to pull them. Hinged so that they opened up clam shell fashion. Nice cases.

etFilii, would you marry me, well would you if you were a Dom? My SKS is Bulgarian with a blonde ash stock, 30-rd mag but this being Canada it's pinned for 5. Can't get an FN-FAL here since even though they're semi-auto, the Army used to have them so they're prohibited. And my only street howitzer is a cheap Winchester Defender with a pistol grip, no way I can afford a decent Remington like maybe an 1170.

Back to un-hijacking the thread though, I don't want to feel a vibe or dildo or plug that's been in someone else (I know, they can be cleaned and sanitized but still, UGH!) so I bring my own, same with percussion toys. It's probably a total urban myth but there are stories of infection transfer from whips and such. One of my faves is a braided cat, often usea pressure- washer on it and sometimes get my stuff cleaned with a buddy's body-shop steam washer, but it's the kind of toy that can go between legs and you know there's a chance of having something left on it you don't want to pass around. So I really really prefer to bring my own. My collection though is tiny enough to fit in less than half a roll-on suitcase and I use the TSA locks so if they just HAVE to have a look the lock isn't cut off. I also always put an inventory list right on top, not like if something was missing I'd go to court about it (Yes M'lord, that is my dildo and yes it IS marketed as the Pulveriser) but I've been reliably informed that doing that reduces the odds of your stuff getting fucked around with. I haven't lost a single thing, but I've only done this in Canada and the US. I read a story about the (alleged) singer Racheal Stevens, who used a bunch of whips on stage in her act, getting them confiscated from checked baggage, can't recall which country it was.

Sadly, you can get circus animals through Customs with chains on, but not a willing sub.

Oh yeah, should probably mention: the roll-on I use is a child's one from Disney's Hunchback, it definitely mellows the security folk when they see it. So maybe image is important, matte black or shiny metal is cool but something more subtle can work better?

Up to 3 duffel bags, depending on the occasion.  2 have extended snow/waterboard pouches underneath.  The pouch hold those long canes, boat sized paddles and etc.
