Ron Paul does not want to win- because they will kill him.  (IMO)He does tho want to guide the debate.Curious thing- Friday Chapman said the Illuminatti were/are the money changers and to be thrown out of the temple.

The video will be longer than his run.

After the last 10 years- I doubt I will ever again be excited by any campaign.

It felt good to vote for him in 2008. He actually says things when he talks!

I was really disappointed to hear that his son, Rand, is running for US Senate as a social conservative.

Ron Paul has had his 15 minutes of fame.  While he is entertaining he certainly is not "The Answer" .  No politician is.   We the people are the answer. Do any of you think for a second that if the founders could suddenly be revived they would be so pissed off at our politicians who are really doing, that which politicians have done since the days of the Roman and Greek senates?? Or do you think the founders would maybe be more pissed off at the lazy, indifferent,  ill-informed populace???

Our founders counted upon a free press to keep them in check, when all 1500 plus media outlets are owned by 5 corporations exactly how "free" is our press.  I am sure the likes of Franklin, Washington, Adams, Jefferson, and Madison would be appalled at the state of our media.  Simply put, "We have met the enemy, and he is us."

Politically,

Oh hog wash!

Typical cave in to the NWO.  The fake left right paradyme which keeps the global richest 1% richer at our expense.

I hope somebody else will come out. None of the candidates are sufficiently strong candidates. Ron Paul has too kind character, so does M. Romney. One thing is to talk about reform, the other is to actually do it.  Obama is  a good example of empty suit.

SL4V3M4YB3 -> RE: Ron Paul to run 2012, 2 min vid (8/21/2010 5:41:25 PM)

What does reform even mean?

Does anyone go into government and say "No I like the status quo, you are going to pay me to sit on my fat arse all day?"

This would be more truthful than the average talk about so called reform.

Brain -> RE: Ron Paul to run 2012, 2 min vid (8/21/2010 8:07:42 PM)

I hope he runs because he makes the other candidates better. I agree with his position to cut military spending. I don't agree with him to eliminate the department of education and I definitely don't agree with him on healthcare. He thinks free market competition will reduce healthcare costs.

thornhappy -> RE: Ron Paul to run 2012, 2 min vid (8/21/2010 8:44:13 PM)

Which free market would that be, I wonder?  The one without insurance?

He be too old for my liking, like McCain.

Actually, I meant more that the president should exercise his power to solve problems.  Obama refuses to do so and he has become a slave  to outside (corporate) interest . Ron Paul clearly understands the problems. I am not sure Obama does.

Yeah, those who are free from the burden of having medical care. >snort<

It truly baffles me why cons, and many on my side of the aisle, persist in thinking of healthcare as a commodity, like soybeans, that are subject to the laws of supply and demand. It is not. Healthcare is a service industry, and it is not possible for a consumer to judge the quality of the healthcare he receives without extensive medical training. By that criterion alone, the information differential means there can NEVER be a free market in Healthcare.

I suppose he wants to eliminate tort awards, too, so those ppor doctors don't have to pay anything at all for their fuckups. Getting a bad roof repair is an inconvenience.
A doctor's error can be FATAL.

Smith says Ron Paul, Alex Jones, and Bob Chapman have a weekly threesome in a house on K street.

Ron Paul knows health care industry better than most members of the Congress.  The major problem in the US is the cost of health care.  I  think breaking the monopolies and bringing more free competition into the industry as a good idea and it can be done,  I do not  understand why free competition in health care industry is not possible. I can understand the industry can not be wild and without standards. I doubt seriously the quality of US health care is so superior it deserves twice the price the people in other advanced industrial countries are paying. Obamacare turns the system into corporate welfare and it has already (even before coming fully in effect) increased the cost  by 10%.
