EastbourneCouple -> Puppies / Pets (8/23/2010 2:04:59 AM)

We are currently searching for a puppygirl to join our household. She will be our first "human" puppy and we're interested in hearing from anyone else about their experiences and opinions in relation to puppy / pet play.

Have you trained/owned a human puppy/pet?
Have you been a puppy/pet?
What advice can you give others?

We look forward to this discussion...

Buy your supplies at PetSmart not the fetish store.  Much cheaper.

We'd already worked that out - pet store is usually a third of the price and generally better quality.

I bought a riding crop from a fetish store, it cost me £10 and broke within a few days. I can get them from a local saddlery for £3 and they last forever!

If they piss in the floor, remember to whack their ass with a rolled up mewspaper and tell em NO NO, then take em outside.

As a trainer, give very specific information. There should be some type of signal the "puppy" should give if they need to break their role for some reason.

I have had my best results when I have taken the time to explain carefully what I expect right up front - what each command means, when I want eye contact, what "relax" time means, and what the command is to stop being a puppy is again. It can be an incredible amount of fun, but without that communication right off the bat it can be very frustrating for the puppy. Good luck!
