I live in central NH and I am completely new at this. I am not sure if it is what I want but a friend who is a D suggested that I seem very much like a sub to him and this is why my relationships have failed. I have always looked upon D/s relationships with admiration and wish to explore if this is the right thing for me.

I am recovering from a broken heart. I could not provide for my last partner of three years and he could not accept how submissive I was in the relationship.

Welcome to the site. Don't let anyone tell you what is or isn't. Use the site like a library and not like the bible. Feel free to pick and choose what suits you. Also ask around if you have questions.
