bagoodslave4u -> Mystress world scam? (8/26/2010 10:02:49 AM)

I just recently received a message from Mystressworld stating I was referred to her by a local Domme. I have been corresponding with her and long story short they want you to join a site with lessons for Dommes/subs. After the lessons they pair you with a Domme and a connection is hopefully made. Does anyone know if this is a scam, or legitimate. Is there anyone here who has experienced it and what the results were? Eitherway, I think it would be beneficial to hear input for everyone's sake..

Please use the search feature to read some past threads regarding MystressWorld.  I think you'll find your answer there.

ETA - If there wasn't kink involved, would you really send money to someone you didn't know from the internet?

DarkSteven -> RE: Mystress world scam? (8/26/2010 10:16:05 AM)

1. A local Domme who you've never met referred you for training?
2. D types want you trained their way, not according to some site's ideas.
3. Read the MystressWorld site. It's devilishly well done. 90% of the site is there to make it look authentic and legitimate and only 10% is there to demand money. And even that part is done subtly.

PeonForHer -> RE: Mystress world scam? (8/26/2010 10:33:31 AM)

Yep, do that 'Search' as LadyPact said.  MystressWorld are clever at what they do.  Particularly watch out for the ways in which they butter up your ego.  You have been 'selected' for your 'unique qualities', etc., etc.

Heh.  Write and tell them that you're so impressed with them that you'll consider one of their mistresses for training . . .for a small fee, natch.  You'll even provide said mistress with a small badge which she can wear with pride.

It's terrible that a MystressWorld thread comes up just when DOMI ISN'T HERE.

GreedyTop -> RE: Mystress world scam? (8/26/2010 11:17:03 AM)

I'm telling you.  Some kind of strange karma is a work here.  Not only did he miss the fart (which led to poo) thread, he's missing the opportunity to take a shot at Mystress World.  I wonder if the universe is in on the gag?

PeonForHer -> RE: Mystress world scam? (8/26/2010 11:46:47 AM)

What concerns me more is this simpling of Femdommes that BoiJen has just revealed on the Plop-plops thread.   I won't stand for it.  I think our governments should tell us what's happening.

servantforuse -> RE: Mystress world scam? (8/26/2010 1:44:41 PM)

There is only one way to find out if it's a scam. Give them your credit card number and wait for your dream mistress to call you.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Mystress world scam? (8/26/2010 2:32:46 PM)

Okay, if I go work for Peon, he hands out BADGES?? I dig badges, I never got to be a Scout. It could be the Order of the Kink, or something!

A nice sash would go well with my tiara, too.

What were we talking about? One of those stupid websites? One born every MINUTE, srsly.

PeonForHer -> RE: Mystress world scam? (8/26/2010 4:23:26 PM)

Honestly, Lady Hib, MystressWorld is in a class of its own.  It's the scam par exemplar.   Every bit of it is carefully worked out to grab you, the sub male.  I know that there'll be submales who, when they get to the stage of being asked for money, will think 'Woah!  You don't have to ask twice!' . . .  It's like,  'OK, you've got your PhD, because you're really, really that good.  Unlike all the others.  Oh, but it'll cost you a hundred quid to print your certificate.'  You're grateful to cough up the money . . . .

They're unusually skilled at what they do because they do what other scammer 'femdommes' don't - they make you feel good about yourself.  If you're a submale on the hunt, that can be a very unusual feeling.

Sigh. I never think of these kinds of things. I fail as a grifter.

(Abbreviated ... for length)

Lady Hib ... it is a scam ... but in my unique description of scams ... a relatively clean one.

Unlike one or two we have discussed! [;)]

It costs about a hundred a month ... and they actually send you email ... back! [:D]

So I would describe it as ... an introductory site ... for those new and afraid ... as long as you are willing to cough up ... the fee.

But when it comes to scams ... these people are almost harmless.

<edited to corrrect spelling ... gads ... don't ya just hate that!>

VideoAdminAlpha -> RE: Mystress world scam? (8/26/2010 7:33:49 PM)

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Mystress world scam? (8/26/2010 7:34:11 PM)

She just contacted me about two or three days ago, telling me the same thing.  The funny thing is she has also contacted me from another site where a Mistress on that site also recommended me.   What are the odds of that happening on two different sites?  Did you notice how the classes they teach on are like directly related to male sub fetishes and not really towards service?  She is good at her game but it is still transparent.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Mystress world scam? (8/26/2010 7:43:19 PM)

Want a femdom, go get slavekal's book. It's like twenty bucks for the download.

As well You should be! [:)] [:)] [:)]

Truthfully ... there are some really dangerous CON's on Collar me ... not a lot ... but they are here.

They try to trick unsuspecting men ... by taking them off CM ... to personal email and chat. Then play the ... affectionate game ...

Finally, they drop the request for money ... or opening an online bank account ... or whatever.

But Your advice, VAA, is paramount! DON'T DO IT ... even when they ask you off CM ...

But you COULD do a pay site ... really well! [;)]
