Dont worry the greenhouse gases are escaping through the hole in the ozone layer.
i jokingly told an anti global warming nut this and he then started to explain the greenhouse effect and ozone layer . so i just laughed some more

I will un-duct tape my mouth from its ban just briefly to apologize to Hillwilliam for oblique and poor pun material.
Since John Norman wrote the Gor series, I inaccurately gauged the rather hunnish activities of those wacky Goreans to have reached their pinnacle at the time of the, you guessed it, Norman Invasion. Ergo, it followed that this might aid in establishing a timeline for awareness of global warming.
Ehhhh, even I deplore this shoddy new low in my contributions to Random Stupidity.

....afterthought, I have logged back on briefly just to note that I suppose my references are so obscure as to seem nonsensical at times. Therefore, my other entry must have been equally baffling.

Explanation: this was a pun on the subject matter, which I assume was based on politician Al Gore and mistaking the term "Gorean" as meaning his followers. Goreans are obsessed with forcing their slaves into all sorts of positions. Among these positions are the "nadu" and of course, good old-fashioned kneeling. In a moment of high-spirited punning, I found it irresistably hilarious to have Gore slinging orders to other politicians in a sort of Top Secret Code, meaning "Nadu!" he ordered curtly. "Kneel!"

Again, I apologize, although I never laid any claim to making funny jokes. My puns may be puerile groaners, but are, nowever, not nonsensical. Thanks for listening.

subway, are you positive your real name is not "Dennis Miller" as this was his "schtick" for years before he sold out and became a "conservative comic".

I used to love his HBO show because nearly every week he would make at least one reference so obscure that I, Mr Trivia, would need to search the net.
