It will cycle out, you are just past the 20 day mark which is when induced lactation just begins.  You can expect some thick, odd colored, bitter tasting fluids in the beginning. It's normal for forced lactation.

Thank You for the info. :)

I'm using wild yam cream and breast/nipple stimulation eight times a day and it's working.

Wild yam cream (if you buy the right one) is natural progesterone and progesterone is the necessary hormone for survival of a fertilized egg. In pregnancy, progesterone is necessary to prevent the premature shedding of the uterine lining and sudden loss in progesterone results in loss of the embryo.
During the later part of pregnancy, the breasts are making colostrum and the only thing that inhibits milk secretion is the high level of progesterone. Within a few days of giving birth a woman's body starts to produce high levels of prolactin and the sudden drop in progesterone is what allows the body to make copious breast milk. Therefore, your wild yam cream is not helping you to lactate.

Another thing to seriously consider if your a non mum milker is, to produce milk you need high levels of prolactin but prolactin represses dopamine, which is responsible for sexual arousal. In other words high levels of prolactin are responsible for loss of libido.
Forced lactation and the production of too much prolactin comes with other types of irregularities including, painful and tender breasts, irregular menstruation, infertility, loss of sex drive, headaches, vision problems, thyroid disease, polycystic ovaries and shingles.

18 months ago we thought it would be fun to try and see if I could lactate. It was easy and before long my milk was flowing. We stopped when I went right off sex and almost right off my partner! but that wasn't the end of it. I have endured 15 months of hormone imbalance. My thyroid went on a low, my ovaries formed cysts. For the first time in my life (apart from being pregnant) I put on weight and no matter what I did the lbs kept piling on. I had constant cluster migraines and my vision often became blurry.
I am getting back to normal but its been a long road of recovery. Everything works back to that lactation period.
I have repeated myself too much on here but I don't want what happened to me to happen to others. It was only meant to be fun, a little experimentation! If I had realized that I was going to upset that little orchestra of hormones in such a drastic way, I would NEVER of done this but I am someone who has lived with the consequences and as such, I should at least warn others of what can happen.

We really want to try this induced lactation thing, but I am going to keep on the lookout for those negative consequences of it. Also, then......if I am trying to lactate, it sound like I should stop the wild yam cream and it would be easier.
