Obama should tell America he is an atheist like his mother. It will do civic good.

This guy is wrong and ridiculous!
FTA:

"Nor are we asking Obama to be the believer-in-chief of American civil religion. We’re simply saying he should offer himself as one example in America today of what it means to believe. He should render his religious persona public, for the good of the republic as a whole.

A president willing to talk about his own faith could do some powerful civic good. Obama’s biography suggests he has much to offer. He has spoken movingly of his mother as someone who did not believe in God, but who epitomized a life well lived. He has intimate knowledge of Islam and other religious traditions and appreciates their richness in a way that has not hindered his Christianity—a serious believer who is seriously alert to the power of other beliefs."

I remember the First Commandment as being have no other God before Me. -Paraphrased-

That to me means no one or nothing is more important than God.

If one is a Christian, then nothing is more important than serving God through Jesus Christ.

Not serving religion, man, politics, or any other consideration.
By serving God first, he is showing he is a Christian through his acceptance of Christ as His Lord and savior.

If he denies Christ he is showing he is not a Christian.

One doesn't allow those who are not believers to set the moral standards one lives by, one allows Christ to do that, if one is really in Christ. WRONG!

Now this may seem intolerant, but the Truth is intolerant of lies.
Anyone who denies the Son of God as their Savior is not a Christian, and as such has no business in setting the acceptable behavioral standards of Christians. WRONG!

So that means that all the religions who deny Christ as the Son of God, you don't get a say in the behavior of Believers in Christ. WRONG!

Isn’t Obama’s Christianity a private matter? Isn't it peripheral to the real issues at hand? Not right now. The culture is desperate for adult guidance when it comes to religion.

These are all your words... nothing to do with the piece you linked to.

Christian belief according to Brain.

Jeez, what next?

Maybe he could write his own bible, complete with links and pictures. He could call it The life of brain, located in Canada, serving the world.

Ok, so I ripped the last bit off from the Leather Archives, located in Chicago and serving the world, but I thought it was kinda catchy.
