The title is just a testament to my own excitement at Winter's upcoming arrival. I understand that Autumn is closer still, but I feel like all cold days are Winter days. And I'm just a Winter lover through and through.

Now that you understand how fragile my sanity seems to be, I think it is best for me to introduce myself.

My name is confidential, but please refer to me as whatever you wish. Winter, princess, submissive, etc. Nothing will offend me here. [:)]

At the moment I'm 18 (almost 19), a submissive by my own application, an ambitious student, a loving friend, and a dreadfully open-minded daughter. Oh woes the future people that will come to understand how religion holds no part in my life. [8D]

Anyway, I'm interested in meeting plenty of new friends, and I truly hope that you all have a wonderful week!

You are inviting that wretched beast "Winter" which causes me to experience -40 degrees C/F windchill in my face for 4 months a year.

Oh, you live in North Carolina, no wonder you like winter.

Nevermind me, I associate winter with... annoyance. lol.

Ugh! Once you live in Michigan you learn the truth about winter. That snow is evil, and Hell is cold!

And once you live in Canada, you will learn that only numbness with save you from the pain, but you have to remember that in 15 min you'll have frostbite.

I can feel winter in the air.  That's why in 3 weeks we'll be headed south for the winter.

Yep, even ducks have enough sense to migrate south for the winter. You'd think more human's would be at least that intelligent.

Welcome to CM and the forums. Move to Canada or any northern state, you won't be so eager for winter. Too much snow and unreal wind chills will soon cure you of that. The monster coat, the heavy boots, earmuffs and warm mittens are all a necessity.

I live in the countryside and there are times when I can't even leave my home for over a week. And although I'd love to go south, I can't afford it, so here I'm stuck and wishing for the warm days to continue as long as possible.

Bite your tongue woman. [;)]

Ah, yes, South for the winter.....

It's amazing that you could go outside from Easter to October and say something and you hear an echo because nobody's around.

But soon that will all change. The car carriers will start bringing in their haul. The Ohio State and Michigan alumni associations will congregate. And whatever businesses and restaurants didn't shut down permanently amidst the 14% unemployment will thrive once again until the weather breaks again in the spring.

And maybe, just maybe, there will be temperatures dipping below 40 again this year. Wouldn't count on it, but maybe.
