where is he described as a victim????
not by any poster...
He is an asshole, who thought he was justified ...he wasnt, he is a terrorist and the only good terrorist is a dead terrorist..no matter what "side" he is on

James J. Lee is nothing more than a terrorist, whether he had mental problems or not (I tend to believe that anyone who says the planet does not need Humans has a couple of issues) when he pointed his gun at the hostages, the sniper did the right thing.

I guess I should explain my post for those who cant quite grasp my sometimes very dry sense of humor.

I didnt blame anything on the far left talkers or blogs, I was very sarcastically referring to the way the left blames right wing talkers and overtly calls for censoring personalities on the right (and worse) whenever there is a militant group or a lone nut who does something regrettable who can be falsely or loosely associated with Conservatives in any way imaginable.

In other words I was making a funny, Luce, so try to unwind a little bit.

He's not 'left-leaning' if he thinks humans are parasites on the face of the earth: he's just another paranoid schizophrenic, but this time with money, guns, bombs, and a 'get out of psychiatric observation free' card. The people who let him out should be held partially responsible; let his defense lawyer be held for attempted first-degree murder.

Remember, 'left-leaning' means humanism, not batshit crazy like the Unabomber and trying to KILL people. Except for thinking the Duggars and Octomom are heralding The Rapture: that's completely true!

Sanity, I posted who was this lunatic's inspirations.

I have honestly never demanded or if I hinted that right wing media personalities should be silenced, I do apologize.

Freedom of speech is a basic human right. I do not agree with their opinions, but I do not have to listen to them, it is my choice.

Now, it is a said fact that there are people who are easily influenced and may take some offhand remark from either side to act in a violent and anti-social behavior.

That is not the fault of the media personality.

Now, unfortunately, the extreme right seems to breed anti government or militant organizations. Please note I said the extreme right. They are a minority and do not speak for the majority.

The problem comes when the news media, right, left and center put the extremists on the news in such a way that either A) makes them out as heros, or B) portrays them as the majority.

In this case, the individual was pro environment, which is a liberal cause, but in referring to humans as parasites on the planet managed to hit the extreme left of the issue.
